Wyman's Spudnuts

Micah was my cashier. She was very bubbly and pleasant so bright and early in the morning. I had been in before and she remembered what I liked from my last visit. That's excellence! The donuts are worth the wait in line!

We loved everything about our visit to Spudnuts! The person who greeted us was so kind and pointed out the owner and his family who were all busy preparing donuts, prepping boxes, etc. What a welcome, right? :) We enjoyed our donuts in the building - great atmosphere! And then we snagged a bag of day-olds for the road. My husband works by the lakes and I've been informed he has made a couple stops into Spudnuts since our first visit. This has become a staple for us. Dare I say it... I'm not usually a donut lover, but spudnuts were absolutely amazing.

Grabbed a dozen (2 maple, 3 chocolate, the rest plain) which cost a little over a dollar a piece. They were very good first day. A good treat while on vacation. The donuts didn't hold up as well when a day old.

Glazed donuts were great. The blueberry filling was unexpected, not great. Caribou Coffee helped wash it all down. The cool, rustic, vintage atmosphere of the converted garage was the best part!

Visiting from Omaha, NE. Best donuts I have had in AGES. I kept trying to figure out what was so amazing g about these. Texture, how dense but so light they are, flavor. Then my wife read the difference is potato flour! And as a kid growing up in SW Michigan eatingthe best sandwiches on potato bread, that was it. BEST DONUTS.

I need to add that I came in for a donut the first day we were in Boji, the cashier told us to come back when they open for fresh warm donuts. I don't wake up before 6am while on vacation for much of anything. We did. We ate more. We plan on grabbing a couple more before we leave town.

Like others said, the twists were a major disappointment. Whats up with Iowa and can anyone produce a flaky raised donut that melts in your mouth?

Great place, awesome donuts... My have is the maple glazed with bacon.

These spudnuts are beyond great!! I have traveled to well over 50 different mom and pop donut shops and this ranks up with the top 3. The other 2 being in Dayton OH. Make sue you get here early if it is the summer, the line is usually 30+min the whole day.

Awesome local donut shop! everyone was super friendly and the donuts are fantastic! These are the kind where you sneak one out of the box before you get back to the cabin! Located across from Tweeter's, not The Lighthouse.

The donuts were light and fluffy. We loved them!! So sweet and flavorful. Maple bacon and the donut holes are delicious!! It was so cool to watch the staff make the donuts.
