Today I had a very bad experience, and they will lose customers because of it.
My husband and I came to get a cup of coffee, and since I'm on a diet, I brought a toast sandwich and banana for myself. Suddenly, the supervisor came in and said, "You can't bring outside food in here. This is how we make money."!!!! She looked at me, and the way her face moved made me feel like she was being racist, and she was not at all polite. I understand that the place has rules, but I didn't see the sign that said so, and she could have told me that in a nicer way. And if she didn't hurry up, my husband was going to order from them, anyway!! she needs to learn how to talk to people and give them information. For me, it was a very sad situation.

Love.this.place!!! So fun! They have Heins ice cream so of course I had to have a scoop, and a cup of the very best apple cider I've had in years. My nieces had "pour over" and said they really enjoyed theirs. My great-niece and nephew had their chocolate muffins which were gone before I could ask for a taste! My great-niece also found a book she has not seen in several years....very excited to find it! Definitely a favorite new place to meet up with friends!

Visited on a Tuesday morning to study and review with classmates over coffee. I got both food and drink, all of which were over priced but I still paid as I was a customer. Chai was OK. Customer service not so much. Staff is rude. I brought my protein shake and mini bag of gardettos, and this was considered outside food. Also was explained that this is NOT a library. In the future I will avoid coming here as should other students, as students are not welcome.

This place is a gem! Its has such a wonderful atmosphere that is perfect for kids and adults. Everything I've tried so far is very tasty, and the coffee is wonderful. The staff here are always so friendly and welcoming. They also play really great jazz music that makes the whole place feel so cozy. Its definitely worth your time!

Lovely little cafe and bookshop. Delightful seating arrangements. Solid coffee menu with some extra surprises in the baked goods department. Good mix of books, too, with a major section of YA and children's books for newer readers. Cozy and sweet!
