It was over whelming. The books are so close to people table. I felt uncomfortable walking up to look at them because I was invading their space. I’m sure no one cares but anxious none the less. Wasn’t fond of the smoothie. It was really bad. It’s more of like a milk with fruit not a smoothie. It has no ice. The place looked like it could be cool but it had be hind the scenes( boxes of books and stuff) out which ruined the vibe. Most seats don’t have outlets near by.

First time here and I ordered a mocha. While waiting I browsed the store and was pleasantly surprised by the breadth of book genres available for sale. Love the seating options, and appreciated the quiet atmosphere. And the mocha was delicious!

Neat little book store mixed with coffee. Coffee was was great! The decore is decent, nothing to outlandish. It's got a couple of reading nooks to hang out in. Fairly big selection of books from all sorts of different genres.
I didn't try any of the bakery goods, but will have to next time.

Good coffee. I ordered a cup of dark roast. It took a while. My friend told me that ordering dark roast implies pour over. You can order other coffee which is not a pour over. Books are shelved on tall shelves. The ambience is good. Very nice.

Great local coffee shop and bookstore. Friendly service. Delicious coffee. Matcha latte and other specialty drinks. Scrumptious pastries. Gracious support of local artists and authors. Sponsor of inspiring community events and book readings.

Great coffee and atmosphere. They have some interesting seasonal drinks that I really enjoy. It's a nice place to hang out for a while and just chill.

We loved the curated selection and the awesome reading nooks the first time we visited - and now that we have a child of our own, we go to Sidekick as a family and take turns reading board books to the baby in the fun little beehive seats while the other parent gift shops and drinks coffee or snags a pastry. They have also done a special order for us, which went great. We are proud to be part of their community!

A lovely bookstore and coffee shop that I'll surely visit again. Comfortable seating options: booths, tables, reading chairs. Bookshelves packed to the ceiling! A variety of hot and cold beverage options, bakery items, and ice cream. Busy but not noisy.
Pour-over coffee took more than 10 minutes, but it was rich and delicious.
Clean, spacious, family-friendly bathrooms.
(Skip the cannoli: shell wasn't very crunchy and the filling just sweet rather than flavorful.)

Great coffee shop with excellent pastries, books for kids to adults & a cozy kid's section with nooks to read books. So much to enjoy!

I stopped in for a coffee at 4 pm. I ordered the least complex beverage on the menu, a medium roast coffee. I waited for 20 minutes for my coffee. I was appalled by the lack of urgency with which the coffee was made. The shop was not the least bit busy during this time. My significant other and I were the only customers actively ordering when we arrived. Finally, after 20 minutes, my coffee was ready. To my dismay, it was lukewarm. To make matters worse, when I inquired whether the coffee already had cream in it or not, I was shown one finger signaling me to wait by the barista who was on the phone. The service was subpar to say the least. I was given a half-hearted "sorry for the wait" at the end of the 20 minutes.
I would be inclined to give this review 1 star were it not for the atmosphere and a few prior decent experiences. However, after this latest trip, I will not be visiting Sidekick Coffee & Books again. I would rather support another local business, such as the Java House.
