Food was great.
Prices on menus need updated.
Seemed like lots of regular customers.
We had a $7.00 error on our bill.
Really wanted to like this place.
The scones never seemed to "come out of the oven."
Would try it one more time :)
Laid back European Café feel.

This is one of our favorite spots in the Quad Cities for lunch. They have the most amazing salads and their blueberry feta vinaigrette dressing is divine! Their paninis are also delicious whether you want sweet or savory. They’re smoothies, cookies, coffees and teas are all good. Basically everything on their menu is so good. Also, it’s worth noting they have the best cinnamon rolls in the Quad Cities too!

I just want to start by saying they serve the BEST. FOOD. EVER. Especially their salad (I'll get to that later). We have been there a handful of times and every time we have felt like family. It's so homey inside and the staff and owners are so sweet and helpful. Our first time there one of the owners sat with us to go over the menu and what was most popular. I mentioned soup sounded good and he brought out samples of each soup they were serving that day. We have now tried their mushroom, asparagus and curry cauliflower soup. Every single soup we've tried has been phenomenal! I wanted to try something different and love salad so I tried their salad that comes with a blueberry feta vinaigrette dressing that was seriously out of this world. I'm a very picky eater and I was completely blown away. The salad was already very fresh and this just made it taste even more fresh. We have tried many different sandwiches and each one has been delicious. Finally, if you like blended coffee drinks, make sure you try their white chocolate frappe with dark chocolate chips. It's better than any coffee shop drink I've had. Now, what are you waiting for?! Go check them out!

Cafe d’Marie is a quaint quiet cafe that is s perfect first date spot, lunch or breakfast with family & friends. The owner is very kind and they have a great menu with quiche, salads, sandwiches, soup, & other tasty goodies. My date and I split our quiche sharing the blueberry & tomato basil both had a great taste. The portobella mushroom soup was very flavorful. If you enjoy latte I had a huge cup of the honey and vanilla latte that was very good. They have a large outdoor space with shade for eating outdoors as well as intimate spaces inside for you and your date. I will definitely go back again the staff was all very friendly!

Really cute cafe on the main level of a historic house. The family that owns this place live upstairs. Very homey, farmhouse decor, super friendly, warm staff. The food was wonderful. I got to try the cream of mushroom soup and cream of Asparagus soup. Also 2 paninis and a large piece of quiche. Everything was so wonderful. I'm glad I was able to visit this place.

So cute! Definitely understand why there was a line outside the door before they opened. Worth the wait. The blueberry dressing was amazing. The panni melt was delicious. Had the almond bread pudding and holy cow! Best bread pudding ever. Will for sure return!!

One of the best brunch sites we've been to. Very cozy so don't bring a large party, but if it's just the two or four of you it's great. The quiche was amazing, the sandwiches were great, the cream of asparagus soup was fantastic (never expected to say that) and the coffee and tea we had was a perfect fit for it all. Would definitely recommend, also gluten free options!

I'd been told by many people (including my mother) that I had to visit Cafe d'Marie. I'd tried to get in on a previous weekend, but gave up early due to parking being hard. This was a bit of a silly reason to not visit somewhere, so I brushed up on my parallel parking skills, found a spot right in front of the place, and made my way in.

The place looks like it used to be a house, and indeed it was prior to the cafe's opening in 2009. There's still a stairway leading upstairs to the right of the entrance and along the main hallway into the interior, benches are set up for those waiting on a table. After getting polite direction to wait in the hallway, I sat for about 20 minutes waiting for a table to open.

The interior of Cafe d'Marie continues the ambiance of being a Cafe created inside someone's former home as you walk through the main dining area. There's a Christmas tree and decorations in a corner, books and family photographs along a shelf in another room, all with tables and chairs spaced throughout. The floors are solid hardwood throughout all the spaces, with lighting supplied by what appears to also be existing fixtures for when the place was still a house, with only some added accent strips in the prep area. It's all warm and inviting - you're in pretty close quarters with everyone else, conversation melding with the quiet music playing in the background. It's a small, intimate cafe space.

I ordered a hot white tea to begin and a muffaletta with chips for meal. The tea is some of the best I've had anywhere in the Quad Cities! It was a Mandarin Citrus flavored tea and was enjoyable through the whole cup. While it was still hot, I enjoyed just sitting and smelling the strong citrus aroma from it for several minutes before it cooled down. Truly great, I'd come back just for this!

The sandwich was similarly fantastic! It wasn't a huge muffaletta like one would expect from Louisiana - this came as a small panini with a few slices of ham and salami, a small spread of olive salad, some spinach, and a little cheese. Between the sandwich and chips, however, it was the perfect amount of food for a quick Sunday afternoon lunch. It tasted great throughout the entire sandwich and I was satisfied without being bloated or too full at the end.

While paying at the register, I chatted a bit with one of the servers, who asked if I'd been here before. After telling them I hadn't visited the cafe before today, they gave me a free cookie. This was really nice, both in the gesture and the cookie itself (it was delicious).

I really want to come back here in the warmer months when the back patio is opened. It's a really special place and if you haven't been here yet, you need to come try it. Thanks, Cafe d'Marie!

Food was excellent. Specialty coffee and smoothie menu was extensive and sounded great. We ordered both smoothies and coffee drinks which were terrible. Smoothie tasted like watered down blueberries and the coffee drinks tasted just like plain iced coffee. Nothing like what was described on the menu. Would definitely eat there again, but not ordering any drinks. The ambiance is also great

Excellent food, staff & atmosphere. The staff recommendation & portions were great! We had the mushroom soup, garden salad, #3 & 6 then finished off with the lemon cake and all of it was incredible. Definitely will be visiting again.
