Dash Coffee Roasters

Seem to really care about their beans. Service was friendly. WiFi worked. But the most interesting thing is you can tell that there is a revitalization that is happening on the Westbank of Cedar Rapids, this seems to be a major tipping point because you have and legitimate artisan coffee shop. So with all the buildings around in the advent of new people living in the area there's a coffee shop within walking distance.

Decided to try this place out two days ago and boy am I glad I did! The service is so friendly and nice. And for the coffee was amazing, I’ll be coming here any time I have a chance:)

I have always been a fan of supporting local business where possible. However, Dash is truly a cut above. I will get to the quality of the food and coffee in a minute, but I want to comment on something that is a rare find in today’s world: the quality of people here. Every time I come here, you can tell that the staff truly cares about providing a great experience all around. From the friendly faces, conversation, to the overall experience, it is truly a delight. In the past, I have gone to food establishments that have perhaps even great food, but the service is lacking. To me, one without the other tarnishes the entire experience. At Dash, you will experience both great food and great service!

Now onto the food. Everything at Dash is made from scratch. Great pastries, fresh sandwiches, and even fresh bagels for the breakfast sandwiches. The baked goods vary from day today, which I enjoy. Variety is the spice of life!

But, we are Dash really shines it’s in its coffee. Dash roasts its own beans in house! The coffee is truly excellent. But, without the skill of the baristas, it would be easy to ruin great beans. Rest assured that you have nothing to worry about in that regard. All of the baristas are very talented!

I did not see more than average place with average coffee.

This is a really nice place with some decent coffee. I decided to check it out because it’s a short walk from my apartment. I like the industrial aesthetic and it definitely has a chill vibe. However, $3 for 12oz of black coffee is hard to justify.

Loved the menu, appreciate the to go containers, friendly staff with great location. My only complaint is the gal with long dark hair who pets her hair, takes hair out of pony tail, puts hair back into pony tail, she stroked her hair all while standing behind the counter. She didn't seem to do anything with the food thank goodness. Was annoying watching her preen while others hustled to get orders out.

Great cafe for a quick stop off the bike path. The salads are fresh and delicious, and the chai tea had a full velvety texture - very soothing on a cold winter day.

The only downside is a lack of bike racks in the area.

Imagine that perfect cup of coffee.....now think to yourself, is there anyway this could get better? Go to Dash and experience the caffeinated nirvana of perfectly balanced flavors all captured in a cup. It's a cup that keeps you sipping to the point of almost chugging.

Downside? Makes other coffee taste like brewed dirt.

So definitely wade through the waters of depressed looking hipsters too engrossed in their laptops to notice the sun is shining and enjoy an awesome coffee.

Love the vibe here. Smoothies and cold brew are my favorites on the menu. It's a little dark in the back; my sun seeking self loves the seats by the big front window. And bring something with sleeves in the summer, it's always chilly!

I asked the guy if my mocha was gonna be sweet he said yes what he failed to tell me was that it was strong too! Coffee was ok for it to be almost $5
