Found this while looking for coffee shops during my drive. Convenient spot with a parking lot on the side. Benches out front if you want to enjoy your coffee out there. Inside was beautiful with a chill vibe. Love the plants and the art for sale. The seasonal offerings were really unique and the baristas were super friendly! Can't wait to go back and try something else!

The best quality cup of coffee in town. Backed up by good food and even better attitudes from the staff. They’re always happy to see me, seem truly grateful, for my business, and in life in general. The place is great, but I do wish there was more comfortable seating options.

Loved the presentation of the food and drinks. Great breakfast sandwiches and the espresso rolls were very good! The kids loved their take on hot chocolate.

I stopped in to Dash coffee roasters for lunch while downtown for business. I’d driven past several times and I am so glad I finally stopped in.

I ordered for there and was served my coffee and lunch in less than five minutes. All of my items were made fresh to order. I decided on an iced coffee with the honey and cinnamon with a splash of oat milk. This is such an underrated combination of flavors. Their honey is one of their made in house flavors, as designated by the menu boards. The cinnamon was high quality as well. I love that it was served in a large mouth ball jar.

I picked out the Cali fresh sandwich with the side salad. The salad was served with a sweet poppy seed type dressing. It was the perfect size meal for lunch. The aioli on the sandwich was really unique, it really made it different than a sandwich I’d make myself.

I was able to sit in the sunshine coming through the window while I ate. I especially liked all of the plants on display, and took a seat in the corner by a few of them.

I would consider ordering ahead next time, which they had set to the side of the counter by the door for patrons to pickup.

Easily the best coffee shop I’ve been in for a long time! Lovely atmosphere, excellent coffee including pour overs (for us coffee snobs), a great food selection which is v reasonably priced. I had a delicious vegetarian breakfast sandwich. Breakfast and lunch options, lots of choice for cakes and snacks too. A big space that I’d bring my little kids to. Very friendly staff. I will be back!

Terrific chai, great service, and - although I didn’t have them myself - the steel-cut oatmeal and pastries look delicious and tempting!

I go here every other day for the Iowa Sunrise my favorite breakfast sandwich . It’s very good. The menu has a great variety and the prices are reasonable. The staff always super friendly.

Ok, THESE people know how to make a cappuccino. That I prefer.

In the area I’ve reviewed, Roaster’s and Stillwater of Hiawatha. Their beans in general and cappuccino specifically do not hold a candle to Dash’s

1. Their beans are that brown, non oily type that I’ve mentioned before. It is not dark-almost burnt like. Their coffee is light. One might say too light.

2 the cappuccino was light too, unlike the other 2 coffee houses mentioned. I had Stillwater the day before and could not finish the cappuccino. Waaay to dark.

3. The steamed milk, sooo I’m mentioning this because it was that noticeable between what I had yesterday and today. It was perfect for lack of better words. Rich, not too frothy but the Bubbles where micro and pleasantly delicious.

Not to mention a fine latte art. I walked to my car so It got messed up. I appreciate that detail even though it was a cup to go. Just speaks to a level of higher care/standard.

My only complaint (I laughed in my head about this) is how they described the bag of coffee I bought. I asked if their beans where dark or medium roast. The employee said they don’t roast too light or too dark, and told me about how the coffee would make me feel etc. like using words to describe coffee that are not food/liquid related words but like feeling and object words. It was weird. Their coffee is of a 3rd wave influence. Like I said the brown non oily beans.

It was weird and pretty funny. Anyways definitely check them out.
