Worst Scooters experience ever in Carroll, IA. We got 3 blended drinks and they all had large chunks of ice. The Carmelicious didn't taste right. The other blended latte was so chunky you couldn't even drink it and they didn't put on the whip! Drive in only so we couldn't go back without waiting in line. Not sure anyone in there knew what they were doing.
I get lattes here on a pretty regular basis, 3 times a week at least and it's completely hit and miss. I'm giving 2 stars because you could literally train a monkey to be more consistent with the quality of lattes coming out of this place. I'm referring to the fact that half the time I get a latte here they barely stir it if at all so it taste bad and when I get to the last 25% of the coffee it's like I'm drinking straight syrup. How hard is it to stir a drink? It's such a simple step in the process, it should never be missed, do better guys jeez.
today, 11/16/22, I was fired. I'm not all that surprised really. I should have taken the hint and not even came in today. After all, I've been through this before. 1 bad customer review to corporate, the owner finds out, and I'm axed without the manager, Stephanie, truly fighting for me. All I got was told this then more reasons were tacked on. They were true, but in no way why I was fired.
You know, I was hired at a time when they needed people and didn't have a set staff for days. I was even told I was desperately needed when I was hired. Look at where my service got me. Booted at the first corporate bad review.
So, I've decided to go the corporate route myself and already called them literally 10 to 15 min after the fact.
Was at Walmart then ordered my ice tea online. Took me maybe 10 minutes to get there. It was ready. Love the ordering online!! Makes other customers jealous, I think, pull up, they give it to me and I'm on my way!!
Stopped here last minute as we were leaving town after visiting family. Coffee was great, but service was kind of poor. We got there about 5 minutes before closing and the worker told us we came "at the worst possible time" since they "close in a few minutes and were hoping no one would come through". She also complained about the people behind us because they backed out of the drive thru when she said they had closed. I've worked in fast food and I know it sucks when someone shows up last minute, but it's a part of the job. We definitely didn't want to be complained about when we just needed some coffee for our 12-hour drive home.
Called 5 minutes before I went, the phone rang for a good 2 minutes and nobody answered. I decided to go anyways, got there and two girls were just standing there talking. Didn’t really greet me. I ordered a small coffee and Turkey burrito, ended up paying $9 for what seemed like a microwaved gas station burrito and a mediocre coffee. Meh.
I'm just not a scooters lover. Here's the deal -the Barista's rock, they really do. I just don't love scooters coffee -ever. I stop at them, because I'm straight lazy and they have drive thru, and I travel Nebraska a lot where I see only scooters, but it's just not good. I literally know I'm wasting money but I have a major coffee addiction and I'm not even ashamed to admit it. Some of my friends prefer scooters and I also wonder how we are friends. How do they have taste buds. I will say- scooters cold brew is pretty smooth, so if you're a fan, go for it. Otherwise scooters syrups just all taste the same, no matter the flavor. And let me just say again - THE BARISTAS ROCK AT THIS LOCATION, it's just not my favorite coffee and it's not anything to do with them, or their skills -it's legit every scooters anywhere.
Love this place. Quick and always tastes delicious. The customer service is fantastic. I go about once a week and they always seem to be quick enough my 2 yr old and 3 month old doesn't start fussing and they even shoot up a lighthearted conversation!
A bit disappointed when the get my coffee drink wrong several days in a row. One day maybe a bad day but then to have the next day when they repeat the order back to you even and still get it wrong 🤔
