The Hub-The Roasterie & Heaping Plato

The Plato is great. Ingredients are very fresh and it is decently quick to get your food.

Place is often packed, and the only downside is that the resulting lines can be quite long.

I've had breakfast and lunch here!! They have great healthy options. Spicy falafel is something I would suggest for anyone to try!! Its an affordable place for students.

The food is ok, definitely not the best. There was quite a wait, however I went at the height of lunch rush. Beautiful building and interior design though.

Expensive given that the food is pretty ordinary. The falafel is alright; however, the beef/lamb and chicken aren't.

Food is good but I gave it a star because they serve you too much rice with little amount of meat. You ask for anything extra, price goes up like crazy. They claim the amount has always been the same, but been eating here for awhile and every time the amount is decreased!

The coffee is terrible but everything else is very good especially considering it's on campus. The Heaping Plato is good quality food and the Roasterie has great snack options and drinks - aside from the coffee.

One of the many dining centers at iowa state university. The place is usually crowded, particularly during lunch time. They have have a cafe inside from where you can get Gelato as well! The most interesting thing about this dining center is they serve halal food as well.

The heaping plato is an absolutely fantastic place to stop for lunch. Honestly, if I had enough flex meals I'd eat there everyday. It's quite healthy and brings a wonderful flavor with a kick. Also, though I'm not a coffee person, I've been impressed with the Gelato served by the Roasterie. If you stop by the Hub you'll find something you enjoy.

The falafal we're great. The rice and other side with it made it very filling. Outdoor seating available as well as indoor. The staff was helpful and friendly. Would come back for a meal here again. Right near the library.

Food pricing is okay but the portions are quite small. Also, the food just doesn't taste very good. Worst falafel I've ever had. It's very noisy and there is very limited seating.
