North Grand Cinema

Not what you would consider a large mall, however, it is a very functional mall. A good variety stores and a nice play section for the kiddos. Nice walking distance on the inside for lite impact walking. To sum it all up: merchandise, food, movie, and a workout. North Grand Mall has it all!

Decent theater. Service is mediocre. Entrance/foyer is a cluster and very chaotic. Hard to move around near the counter when busy. Usually just skip food and drink if we don’t get there way before showtime.

My favorite theater in Ames. The seats are SO comfy! The sound is always the right volume and the snack bar is cool- with unique candies. No complaints!

I enjoyed the theater very much. But the 16oz coffee for 3$ was a disappointment, it tasted as if was sitting out all day. The quality of the coffee wasn't worth 3$. However, I love the reclined seats and space between the person you were sitting by, the little tables attached to the seats were pretty sweet.
I recently had returned to this theater. I love the menu options and the seating arrangements. This time around was nice.

Went to see At War with Grandpa and the movie was phenomenal. We got to the theater a little early, no problem. Everyone running the counter was friendly, sweet, and on point. Honestly North Grand has the best customer service. Theater was spotless and the entire experience was fantastic.

Recliners are very nice and comfortable. I like how easy it is to walk between rows. I like the options for food and beverages. I was also very glad that they started booking tickets through fandango instead of their own website for the reserved seats. Oh, and reserved seats for the theater are awesome so you can get a good seat even if you're a little late to the theater.

Wonderful theater! Seats are great and super comfortable. Now you can order burgers, cheese sticks and adult beverages! So thankful to have this up in North Ames!

By far the most comfortable seats I've sat in at a movie! Great concession selection they even have adult beverages! The staff if always helpful, and courteous.

Seats are awesome! They are comfortable and recline back further than most. There is also a tray attached to your seat to set your food on. Cup holders on arms of chairs. Alcohol available for purchase. Great place.

It was good to be back in a theater to see a movie. The reclining chairs were comfy and enjoyable, but made it kind of hard to see the bottom of the screen. The movie we wanted to see was no longer showing, so I wish the online listing were more up to date.
