Latea Bubble Tea Lounge - Housemade Family Recipe Boba

This place lack of management and the members are slow like turtles. To be honest, I haven’t seen any other bubble tea place around campus this slow and the members are always making mistake doing drink. Wrong milk, wrong topping, claim 10 min wait but end up waiting 40 mins.

Matcha strawberry tea, real matcha, real strawberry. Make sure to shake it real well, but it tastes amazing. I always try their seasonal stuff, never disappoints.

Avoid the kiosk, it has an extra charge and is real fussy to use. Leave a tip with the friendly barista instead!

Great staff and high quality boba tea. Perfect consistency and love that you can choose your sweetness level.

Literally amazing - I will now stop every time I’m in town!! Staff was super friendly & everything I tried is amazing. Some favorites were the Mango Cloud Smoothie, Brown Sugar Milk Tea (house made brown sugar bobas are to die for) & the macadamia nut tart. Can’t wait to try even more things!

I have been in search of a really good bubble tea lounge since falling in love with the Chow Bar's bubble tea in Bloomington, Indiana. Finally found it with Latea Bubble Tea Lounge. I have visited this establishment twice and have not been disappointed. They have a huge selection of tea that you can either have as just tea or you can make it a bubble tea. I am a big fan of citrus, so the first tea I tried was the grapefruit bubble tea. It did not disappoint. Tasted amazing. The second time I went, I tried orange bubble tea. It was good, but the grapefruit I had was better. I have yet to try their items on the food side of the menu. Overall I recommend. They are very friendly there and were helpful answering questions on my first visit. The space is very cozy and not a lot of seating, so I don't recommend a large group going together.

Best bubble tea in town. The staff is always super friendly. It's usually pretty busy, but they are always quick with getting orders out. Pretty laid back atmosphere, great place for hanging out with friends and grabbing a quick bite. They have a great selection of flavors, additives for the drinks.

I am a shift manager at the theater next door and it is routine to walk over and grab a large vanilla milk tea with honey boba before my shift. I am OBSESSED with their milk teas! I CANNOT get anything else.

The staff are always super nice when I come in. Excellent service, great atmosphere, super clean and just overall a really wonderful place to be in. The walk to Latea is always worth it even on stormy days. They have yet to disappoint me. You guys definitely earned the 5 star rating! Keep up the great work!

I am a regular of La Tea and used to absolutely love it. If I were to leave a review a few months or even a year ago, it would have been 5 stars. Unfortunately, the last handful of times I have visited the service has been extremely slow and the wait times outrageous. I’ve walked out 2 times due to the number of people in line and waiting for their orders. At one point, orders stopped coming out entirely or came out in 5 minute increments. We were warned of a 15 min wait time this last time and it ended up being 40 min. Plus they consistently put the wrong milk in our drinks. The quality of the drinks are great! I cannot complain about that. But man, the service has been poor. I also want to comment on their stock of items. Very often they’re out of something critical or they’re having to make more boba leading to increased wait time. I called for weeks one time to see if their Taro had been in stock. It’s disappointing walking in and seeing a component of what you ordered scribbled on a little list by the register (meaning out of stock). I will caveat by saying my bad experiences have been on Friday evenings or the weekends so I can’t speak to how they are during regular daytime hours but I would expect a better experience from La Tea.

Bubble-licious!
First time at Latea and I'm a fan. Service is fantastic and the place is open and spacious. They let you sample their drinks before buying, which I really liked. Tried their mango green tea with passion fruit jelly and passion fruit green tea with mango jelly. Delicious! Got it at 75% sweetness which was just perfect. Will definitely be back to try their other drinks.

I’ve been going here for about three years and their tea and bubbles are both very consistently great. Staff is always nice and helpful. They usually get orders out pretty quickly, but they let you know when ordering if they’re busy and the order may take longer than usual. Prices are very fair for the quality you get. Good place to study as well. Would recommend.
