Nice little cafe, they do serve food here but you wouldn't know that unless you happen to see the menus on the counter. I had the Cage Special, chicken breast with gouda and bacon on a chiabata roll and it was very good. Coffee was excellent as well. The blueberry peach pie was very enticing and I'll save that one for the next trip.

I have visited Blackbird many times, and have always thought their espresso drinks were great. Not anymore. Last two lattes have been terrible. I felt like I spent $5.00 on steamed milk and a little flavoring. Won't be back. Too many others in town.

Great service, great coffee, great sandwiches, great deserts. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options. Great selection of coffee and tea. Don't leave without ordering a slice of pie. This is a favorite stop for my family.

My hazelnut latte with soy is always made with the same consistency; perfect! The staff is friendly, the owner Dan provides the freshest pastries, espresso, etc. As the 2015 and 2017 Rose Award recipient, I highly recommend visiting Blackbird Cafe!

Service was hospitable, the food came out quickly and tasted great. But the real winner was the baked goods selection. I didn't know how much I was missing when I ate the homemade Oreo, but my life is now complete.

For nearly 10 years, Blackbird's Chicken and Peppers sandwich has been my sandwich of choice. The online menu still lists grilled chicken breast as an ingredient. Today my sandwich (as with the chicken pesto panini) was instead filled with thin sliced deli chicken -- a disappointing development indeed.

Still 4 stars because of rest of the sandwich was great, and both the cherry and blueberry pies were delicious.

Downtown staple. AMAZING baked goods, superb selection of teas, perfectly made drinks, friendly service. Modern atmosphere with fresh, local art. Board games and books scattered about for your enjoyment.

The green eggs and ham is delicious and the Dewey Cherry tea is awesome too!

Great service and food. The turkey avocado panini was delicious. They also have good quiche, coffees, teas, salads and fresh homemade dessert. Love this place!!

Very good cafe. Definitely one of the best in Valparaiso. The menu is rather diverse especially for a cafe. From lunch and breakfast to baked goods and smoothies.
