This is an amazing coffee shop run by awesome people!
The coffee was great, reasonably priced, and in a great location. As someone who works in The Union 525, they added a much-needed central location in the building. The transformation of the entry area of the building has been amazing, and it's all thanks to these guys.
Dry Bones Mud House is a great place to bring friends, family, and clients, or just have a nice drink between meetings.

All bias aside since I know the owner, the shop was and is designed with a nice blend of the modern urban feel with some personal and creative touches. The bar seating is a nice feature and a nice opportunity to talk with the baristas or owner about the art that is brewing great coffee.
Got the pour over and am not sure what exactly the size was, but the amount for the price was reasonable. The coffee like any good pour over only continued to get better as the coffee cooled and even at room temperature after I had been sipping for a while was still smooth and wonderful. Another neat feature is the glasses for those not taking coffee on the go. The mugs are a special type of glass with an air insulator layer to allow just enough warmth to come through, keep the coffee warm longer, and provide an opportunity to see the beautiful red color coffee brewed right has!
All I had was the pour over, but I'd recommend the coffee shop for anyone who wants to make sure they get great coffee brewed rightly, learn about the art of brewing coffee, is seeking a welcoming, friendly, and chill spot to catch up with friends, or get work done with coworkers or classmates.
I'm looking forward to with the help of the support of the local community when the owner will be able to get into roasting coffee as well and help develop an Indianapolis community that enjoys the artistry of brewing coffee!

This review is a long time coming. I think I've been going to Dry Bones for over a year now and I've never had a bad experience. Danny and Derek are some of the nicest folks I've interacted with and whenever someone else is helping out, they've always been a joy as well. I've had my fair share of the breakfast sandwiches, coffees, teas, and specialty drinks and have yet to be disappointed. The atmosphere in the area is great to sit and relax while stepping away from the office.

Great coffee. Nitro cold brew is excellent. The sandwiches are really great as well. Nice vibe. Will definitely revisit when in town.

Great coffee in a lobby setting with plenty of room to hangout and get away from the desk for a few minutes or meet someone to have a cup. Friendly atmosphere and with all the different companies in the building, it's a good place to network with new and old friends.

Dry Bones Mud House is an absolute gem of a coffee shop. Danny and Derek are gracious, personable, and oh yeah - make a MEAN maple syrup matcha latte with oat milk. They are consistently adding more and more food options to their menu, with great quick grab options like pastries, muffins, and oatmeal. If you work at Union 525 or Launch Indy, then you know that Dry Bones is an institution. If you haven’t been here, stop waiting on your best life and VISIT NOW. *Note - not open on weekends, open until 4pm during the week.
