Coat Check Coffee

A fresh coffee place with beautiful architecture in the heart of Indy downtown. Loved the variety of coffee served (Rosemary, Pistachio, and miso Carmel). They have great ambiance and good rewards program.

I had a (hot) latte and hubby the butterscotch - both were very good and the ambiance was chill. We had a seat by the window and sipped our coffee as we people watched

Kind of a hidden gem. Was looking for a place that had good seating for working while also having a good cup of coffee. This place did not disappoint. Would highly recommend.

2nd visit to Coat Check Coffee after a year and the quality and ambience continue to surpass my expectations. The customer service is on par and the coffee is beyond any variety that I tried in Indiana. We tried Latte with miso, cardamom and a vegan bagel. The jalapeño paste with the impossible vegan patty and egg was a fusion taste explosion for our taste buds. We enjoyed the ambience on a very cold day and highly recommend the German history within the building.

Ambience - German, historic architecture. Open & spacious space, medieval era setup and beautiful details on every nook and corner of Coat Check. We were wowed by the little details.
Coffee - Can I call out NIRVANA!? The speciality lattes are BOMB! butterscotch latte with the perfect hint of nuttiness and sweetness and the ginger latte with herbaceous notes of hibiscus and warmth of ginger. Let’s not forget the spice of chili de arbol! Wow just wow!
Food - No I am not a coffee and food kinda person but today being a Sunday ordered Breakfast and Pesto Bialy sandwich. The schmear & flavors fell right in place.
All in all highly recommend for work, stop by or enjoy a luxurious cup of coffee. Coat Check has my VOTE!

I couldn’t get over how delicious my latte was. The barista was awesome and I had some caffeine restrictions which he was so accommodating to. He explained to us how they make their own syrups in house, completely forms scratch. The ginger syrup I had in my drink was off the charts, so fresh and flavourful. They also had really yummy biscuits which had that homemade feel to it. He even gave us a general layout of the building and I spent some time checking out the artwork upstairs. It’s a beautiful building with lots of details and accents. Definitely a good find for coffee and art lovers.

Very good coffee. Tried the ginger and butterscotch cappuccino. They had a guava cream croissant which was heavenly.

This is a wonderful coffee shop in an incredibly unique space. Latte art was perfect and the barista was so kind.

There was a patron doing Tarot readings on zoom with their computer volume all the way up, which to me, is unforgivable.

Otherwise exceptional coffee shop. 10/10.

Historical rich building offers a exquisite coffee shop, top of the line, hand roasted craft coffee, I tried a pistachio rose infused latte, must try the fresh ginger beer, each drink is crafted before your eyes.
A must try

This experience exceeded my expectations. Ordered a dirty chai and a croissant. Both were wonderful.

Love the location of this coffee shop. Got the pistachio latte & sausage breakfast sandwich. Cute spot, great vibe & service
