Had a pretty good experience for my first time at Healthy Hoosiers. They explained everything to me on how to order and what each choice does for me. The aloe shot was great tasting, the peach tea was very refreshing, and the chocolate peanut butter, smoothing was delicious. I would highly recommend this for anyone. My *only* complaint is that the gentleman making our smoothing wasn't wearing his mask, got on his personal phone between making drinks and didn't wash it hands. Other than that my experience was pretty great.

I’ve known TWO girls who were wined and dined to open new stores, one in Bloomfield and one in Ellettsville, by the couple that owns this one. They both have closed up shop. It’s a pyramid scheme. Do a little research on this company and you’ll find out it’s a multi-level-marketing company.

Bloomington is full of great small businesses - this is not one of them. Spend your money elsewhere and don't give it to a shop that uses a multi-level marketing product

Great smoothies! Only wished they had some tasty, lower-carb green options with veggies.

Powdery, overpriced drinks that are not healthy if you look at the ingredients and research them. Aggressive atmosphere. Looking at the many other 1 star reviews on here, I think it's strange and passive-aggressive that the owner replies, "thank you!" to the bad reviews. Reminds me of any other MLM member. You can say it's not a pyramid scheme all you want but Herbalife's business model clearly is. Do not go here.

This is my favorite place on campus! I’m here every day! I’ve tried new flavors almost every time and none has ever disappointed. You can’t go wrong! There are so many delicious options and everything is SO healthy. I always feel happier and have much more energy after my smoothie. You get a complimentary aloe shot and energy boost that comes with your smoothie that’s so delicious and good for your metabolism. Everything is also very reasonably priced and you can use crimson cash! Add extra protein or fiber for a good deal too. Healthy hoosier gets 10 stars from me!

Healthy Hoosiers is a local Bloomington campus hot spot serving freshly prepared smoothies, teas and energy treats for athletes and all fitness enthusiasts ! There are a variety of flavors to choose from to satisfy all taste buds. Everything smoothie is 250 calories or less with around 20 grams of protein. As a student athlete always on go these smoothies are a convenient way to insure I can fuel my body correctly. Additionally, free wifi and space are available for schoolwork, studying or catching up with friends.
On a personal level, I have become a regular in this store and the owners are always there working and are friendly to the customers and staff. If you do not like a smoothie or tea that you try, they all more then willing to make you another. They now know me by name. As a customer of there's I feel respected and appreciated. They are also knowledgeable about the products they sell.
Lastly, I have gluten allergies and the majority of their smoothies are gluten free or can be made gluten free. They make these smoothies right in front of my face, so I know exactly what is being put into them, which makes me feel safe. All smoothies have protein and real fruit! It is hard to find items on most menus to accommodate gluten allergies and I have never gotten sick off their product or tried a smoothie I did not like; therefore, I highly recommend Healthy Hoosiers to anyone interested.

Ever since Covid, me and my roommates have been on a mission to visit as many small/new businesses in Bloomington and I can, from the bottom of my heart, say this was the worst one.
When you walk in, it looks like there are many options for different smoothies. I had seen some people post on different types of social media (which I realize now was just to get $1 off the smoothie which is honestly overpriced at best). However, when we informed the guy at the register who greeted us that it was our first time, he told us about how the smoothie came with a “complimentary” shot of I still don’t know what, a tea, and then FINALLY the smoothie.
I came into the place pretty hungry and in the mood for a smoothie, but by the time I actually got to drink the smoothie I didn’t even finish a quarter of it before I threw it away. The smoothie itself was just very powdery, and I threw it away because I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.
My biggest complaint is that I genuinely just wanted a smoothie. They said all the other stuff was complimentary, but in the end I payed $14 FOR IT??? I even left a tip just because I felt bad knowing I would never set foot in their business again. If there was a way to just get the smoothie for cheaper or just get the items separate, I can’t say I would go because the smoothie itself was a 4/10, but I think it would help their business.
P.S I was reading their other reviews and saw them reply to one asking “what’s wrong with an MLM.” ?????? If you have to ask that, there’s something shady going on

This business is new to Bloomington, but not new to Indiana! The owners let us know it's just their newest location. They had a big menu, and you get a lot for the price you pay. It's kind of a lot to drink if you go there alone, but it's great if you go in a pair. I tried the buckeye shake and my boyfriend had a chai tea. Both good, quick, and under 250~ calories!

Giving me multiple drinks that I didn’t know I needed is an odd business model. I just wanted coffee! Then when I asked if they could add butterscotch to my drink, I was told no. I get it that they are a unique offering, but I have never felt forced to get something the way they want to give it. When I’m paying that much just for drinks, I should have the ability to make a change. Felt a bit OCD in the place. Odd selfie station against the wall! I guess it’s a destination as well?
