This was the first time I had been to The Toast in over 20 years. I brought my wife since she's always wanted to try it. I got the biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. My wife got the Denver omelet with hash browns. It might have been the best diner breakfast either of us have had. It was so good! We will definitely be back.

The place was packed this morning, but the staff were very friendly and efficient. Good food and a positive atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a local diner, or just trying to avoid a chain restaurant

The Toast is a very quaint and clean little eatery. The staff are always friendly and it is apparent that many of the customers are regulars because they were hailing each other by name and exchanging friendly banter about family, etc.
My wife and myself had stopped in for brunch and we each had eggs, crisp bacon, and outstanding French toast with coffee and ice water. The food was served up soon after the order and was very tasty and filling. While the food could stand up to a downTOWN restaurant, the flavors and prices were more like down HOME.
The servers were attentive but not annoying.
We did not experience even one negative point.
Give "The Toast" diner a try.

This place has always been one of my favorite local breakfast places. I have been coming here since I was a little girl but in recent years the service has become less than friendly and it takes far too long to warm food brought to the table. If I'm going to pay the prices of going to this restaurant I would at least like a fairly hot meal and someone decent service. I would come here more often if those two things could be addressed but I don't see it happening so I will still to my once or twice a year visits for nostalgia sake.

I love this place. Offers great small town diner feel, very peaceful, never any bad service, food is good & fairly priced. The toast carries a unique blend of local folk lore that gives customers a sense of belonging. Only thing I dont like is when servers top off my coffee without asking. Its happened a few times and screws up the perfect blend I like. Other than that... I will always visit when in town. You cannot visit Anderson and not drop by the Toast. A+++

Good food. Good portions. Good price. Small hometown diner, with great service. A little slow during busier times, but when the food hits the table you will forget all about the wait. Great crinkle cut fries!!! Im taking my mom today!

Slow, slow slow service. You can order ahead and still wait 1/2 hour. I have given up ever going here. The food is good when you eventually get it but not how I am willing to spend my lunch break.

Went there with my pregnant wife and 2 kids for the first time. Tried an appetizer which was onion rings which tasted dirty like it had been fried in the same grease as pork and chicken and just tasted foul. Completely threw my appetite off.

Awesome food, atmosphere, and staff. Everything I've eaten there has far exceeded my expectations. The Reuben Omelet, the Chicken Charlie, the breakfast Manhattan, all the way down to the apple sauce, is fantastic!

Been here twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Food is delicious!!! Waitresses are friendly. This is not a place I would go if I had to be somewhere at a certain time, because they don't move very fast. But we will definitely continue to eat here.
