2nd time here. My first experience I did not enjoy my iced latte or my baked good but I wanted to give it another try. Cute inside, love the vibe but the barista doesn’t smile and does not make a warm impression for someone working in hospitality. They served coffee in a Togo cup even after saying I was gonna stay and do some work. Wasn’t able to get a sandwhich on a weekday (Friday). I love supporting local coffee shops but this one is not my favorite

I’ve had the opportunity to visit here many times now and every time my experience has been outstanding, I was waited on by Peter who is very kind and friendly. During my visit he made a point to call out to numerous patrons by name with a big smile. You rarely find this level of personal touch now days, the food and coffee is amazing I had a lavender latte which is to die for. I also finished my visit with a Dopio Espresso which was fantastic, having gone through numerous coffee courses myself and having a deep passion for espresso and coffee, the Espresso I was offered today is everything I would look for and more. Flavor and body were outstanding and a true example of both good coffee and good preparation there of.
I highly recommend coming here for any of their offerings knowing they will be delicious Each and every time! It’s something I look foreword to whenever I’m in town.

Great coffee and wonderful service. I enjoyed my iced mint latte and my husband really liked the elder and oat latte. We really liked the atmosphere and decor inside too. It’s a cute place for a date or just to hang out.

I have been a patron of Elder + Oat ever since they opened. Service : Impeccable 5 / 5 , Treats : 5/5 , Atmosphere : 5/5
Mon - Friday it does state that they do limited items due to the process of each item and the demand for them. Saturday and Sunday is where they have the specialty treat.
This coffee shop is the perfect place to get homework done, meetings, or even a cute coffee date.
I do read all the comments on yelp and google reviews.
Some reviews I see " No attention to smiling to customer, items are old or etc"
The owners are always at the shop overlooking the quality of food and service. If there is ever an inconvenience due to human error ( Coffee mistake, treats not up to proper standards to customer) They are willing to adjust it for you on the spot.
Please experience it for yourself and support this local shop. Don't let negative Nancy from Washington or other states corrupt your own insight on this intriguing coffee shop.
Sincerely,

The business itself is so cute. Seems to be popular as it was very busy inside. The ambiance is great, and feels like a fun place to sit down for a while to catch up with a friend. The mood feels right, but for me, that was about it.
I figured I would try a bunch of stuff my first visit. Overall, the food was a little flavorless. The lavender pound cake tasted more like coconut with a hint of something that might be lavendar. The breakfast sandwich on a scone didn't really work, it crumbles apart while trying to eat it. The hot cross buns (seasonal) were gummy and dense, though the idea of them was cute. The focaccia was alright.
The tea latte I got ended up tasting very watered down for a latte and lacked the lavender flavor I hoped for with the added syrup. I spent nearly $60 on my first visit and felt like I got a $25 experience, unfortunately.

I love Elder and Oat. This place has some of the best healthy baked goods you can get! I have always been greeted and served with a smile and the Baristas make such delicious lattes. The vibes and atmosphere of Elder and Oat are immaculate, its a great place to chill and take it all in. I recommend Elder and Oat to everyone that wants an actual coffee experience and not just the quick drive thru like name brand chains. The Barista Peter is very knowledgeable and really takes pride in his drinks and it shows. Highly Recommended!!

I came in to get coffee And there was 1 person work and a couple of large orders. I had no problem waiting. Another worker came in and started helping. I let the worker know that my mom was on hospice and I had to go help my 80 year old dad change her. He stared blankly at me then said "I'm making it right now." I walk away to let him finish. Less than 30 seconds he screams out my name and puts my drink up. I come and say thank you and walk to my car. The I realized he didn't finish my drink. It was bitter without cream. I had to add it when I got home. I cried all the way to my parents house because he made an already hard situation that I'm in that much sader. It made me feel like I should have just gone through a drive-threw. I gave you a 20% tip. Maybe next time you can have a little more compassion for people who are clearly in a stressed out moment.

I cannot recommend the vibes here enough. Very cute hole-in-wall coffee shop. Get the lavender oatmilk latte if you can.

This is a super cute place and has vegan friendly options which I love! Their focaccia and donuts are always a hit.
