We had a mixed experience here. We specifically went to Strawberry Fields while traveling through the area because of the reviews in the “Find me Gluten Free” app, and the info on their website indicated still having many GF options. Thankfully they did indeed still have GF cake slices, and the chocolate cake we had was amazing.
The lunch options were much more limited however, and the staff was not well informed about what was gluten free or not. Additionally, the staff seemed overall very inexperienced and without written materials to reference for questions that other customers had while we were there. Service was also extremely slow although it did not seem all that busy.

The food was ok for the price. Beef shawarma was ok for the price but it could be more tasty. I liked the turkish coffee. I did not like the chicken kebob; do not expect real kebob when you order chicken kebob. I will probably visit there again for their turkish coffee. The waiteres was nice and attentive.

As I am new in town, I have noticed this place while I was walking to downtown Urbana. I decide to give it a try so I ordered kuffa with stewed potato, okra and mushroom ravioli. Everything was delicious, especially the smoky kuffa. A full lunch for only $7 after tax. Will definitely come back.

It took about 20 minutes for me to get my sandwic which, in the moment, felt like a long time. However, the sandwich was pretty good. So in many ways, sitting in an empty restaurant waiting for my food at 1 pm taught me a valuable lesson. I learned that sometimes you just have to listen. Listen - to the humble whirr of the 4 (I counted them ), 4 beverage coolers. Listen - to the tipping and tapping of keyboard keys of the tired looking man in the beanie across the restaurant. Listen - to the old guy behind you who appeared to switch between Arabic - Language news and the previous weekend's NFL highlights, all without wearing headphones. Good sandwiches are all about patience.

Fantastic coffee shop with a fun breakfast and lunch selection as well as some tasty bakery items. The international market attached is incredible with an amazing selection of imported foods. Pasta, cheese, sauce and bread are delicious. Owner is incredibly nice and helpful. Took the time to help me build a gift basket of assorted goods for my mothers birthday. Definitely will continue to go back. Five stars.

I came here on the spur of a moment looking for a smoothie—and I am so glad I did! I ended up trying their falafel wrap and *wow.* Perfect falafel, creamy tahini, and the addition of cucumber and tomatoes to add variety—and all for a reasonable price! I will certainly be back!

A nice place for a light lunch, with very nice smoothies.

Delicious bakery goodies! My daughter loved the macarons and I had a chai cupcake which was fantastic. We will be coming back next time we're in town.

The owners have done a fabulous job in maintaining ethnic food supply in a college town like Champaign. They provide a small deli and always cater to people with food sensitivities. If you want to grab some fresh juice and a quick healthy snack this is a place to be.
