Me and my boyfriends go-to coffee and sand which shop! Located right by the River and downtown St. Charles we love to grab a hold of some great mochas, sit down/take a walk. Recommend.

Our son told us about this place so we decided to give it a try... upon walking in, the place looks cool with the roasting equipment and modern atmosphere. We went for a coffee and late breakfast. The coffee was good, but after that the experience went way downhill. First the girl at the register had zero personality and looked like she didn't want to be there. We decided to get the yogurt and fruit, as well as a quiche... at about $5 a pop I was expecting a bit more than I got... way overpriced for what you got... the yogurt was in a plastic dixie cup with a little bit of mixed berries, and some granola on the side and served with a flimsy plastic fork... OK, chalked that one up to a bad choice, but when the quiche came out is when we decided we wouldn't be coming back... first off it was very small, and over-microwaved... the crust was so soggy as to be non-existent. Had high hopes for this place, what a let down.

We had some excellent coffee and thoroughly enjoyed our visit with my former teacher. We talked for 2.5 hours and could have continued for at least that much longer. Modern coffee shop, great seating. ?Met a few interesting characters in the shop. Maybe we added something as well.

Your hours are wrong. Please fix them. They close at 5 pm and not 7 pm. They have a great variety of drinks, some snacks, and a huge collection of beans from all over the world. The staff are great and attentive. Great place to meet and get work done away from home.

Coffee was delicious. Atmosphere wonderful. Service excellent. Outdoor seating very nice. The only disappointment was the men's & woman's bathrooms were on opposite sides of the building. With no signs to indicate such. I looked lost trying to find the woman's. Very very clean I might add.

Coffee and tea are good. Service is notably lacking after orders are placed (i.e., once money is collected). Hot food is anywhere between edible and abysmal, but muffins and bagels are fine. I feel like a bit of local, family owned competition would do this place good.

Try the box of toffee coffee it's so good (if you like your coffee sweet anyway), and they put a cute design in the foam :)
Also the foam here for some reason is way better than other places

Delicious drinks! Whether just a black, brewed coffee or a caffe mocha, the drinks here are fantastic! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The environment is fairly quiet...but not too quiet! Good place to have a meeting or just a friendly chat!

I was expecting less when I arrived, but was pleasantly surprised when they had many different regional beans, not just some Sumatran blend like most coffee shops. Ordered an Ethiopian pour over, but was disappointed when I took a sip and the coffee was burnt.
For the coffee connoisseur, this is a 3... at least they offer regional roasts... but the execution is poor.
For the average coffee goer... this place would be a real treat. Definitely go!

I go for drinks ONLY. Never had food there. It has really good coffee products - I believe they have their own blend. The inside has nice ambience and is roomy. I like the huge grinder in the center! Clean and good wi-fi. I frequent when downtown. Only minor problem (for me) is that they are slow with making the drinks. Very nice workers, too.
