The barista was really nice and explained to me how she made the drink. It was orange juice and tonic water over ice topped with espresso. It was an experience. Definitely going back!

The best coffee you can get for many miles in any direction. Served in a cozy downtown space that feels upscale but not pretentious. Unfortunately the staff didn’t extend much courtesy beyond taking my order and seemed preoccupied which tainted my experience a bit. Would try again.

The attention to the quality of their espresso is light-years bring any coffee shop there is. They care about their product and it shows in the taste. Definitely grab a hit drink here when you can, brown sugar latte is amazing

Black coffee drinker. One of 3 or 4 places in my travels where the coffee was fantastic. I'm not sure what they were serving today but the flavor profile kept evolving as it cool off. Each stage flavor evolution was sooooo good. Each sip was very satisfying.

I went on a coffee tour of Rockford during a day trip. I have a coffee shop and RRC is legit. By far the best espresso in Rockford. If your a coffee lover this is the best shop in my humble opinion. Keep up the good work RRC!!

As a Philadelphian who travels a lot for work, it is quite a joy to find such a spectacular coffee shop because they are such a rare thing to come by. Their cappuccinos are as good as my favorite places in Philly, and I do not say that lightly. This is easily my favorite coffee shop away from home. Well done Rockford, IL, you unsuspectingly blew my socks off. You're so cultured!

Very much a hipster hot spot. I was wholly out of my element in this establishment. Not an extensive menu in terms of choices but what they do have is good. I had an almond milk latte and it was quite tasty. My friend shared her lemon poppy seed muffin with me and it was delicious and even had lemon curd in the center. I also purchased two bottles of the cold brew but haven't had a chance to drink them yet.

Hands down best coffee in Rockford! Nothing else comes close. The espresso drinks are fantastic, even compared to some of the best coffee shops across the nation. Really, all of the drinks are excellent, even the basic drip coffee. RRC offers mostly single origin coffee, and they get in new stuff to try all of the time! The baristas can always give you a recommendation of a roast to try and they are genuinely enthusiastic about the coffee they offer. I am a regular customer and I also purchase bags of beans for at-home brewing-- the bags are always fresh and of great quality. I would recommend this coffee shop to all who seek an exceptional coffee experience.

In our opinion this place has the best Nitro Cold Brew coffee in the midwest. We have tried many others and they have been good, but theirs is outstanding! Oh and the pastries are delicious also. Try if you are in or near Rockford.

Such a gr8 spot! I love that the atmosphere is peaceful when I went, but by looking at the way seating is arranged, I’m sure good lively community happens here, too. Get yourself a Nitro, it comes with happy 😊.
