Loved this spot! Very cute and in the heart of downtown Rockford. The pricing is fair and reasonable. Loved the aesthetics - big bags of coffee beans! Great decorum. My chai was very flavorful. Definitely will return!

Great local coffee roaster! A gem in the downtown area of Rockford.
Perfect latte, staff friendly, easy parking on street or parking garages. Love the atmosphere and the coffee aroma as you walk in let’s you know you are in for a treat, a stunning hand craft coffee goodness!

This place made my day. It was within walking distance and I was desperate for caffeine. The inside is quirky and comfortable, small but they have a whole deck area outside and tables on the sidewalk. They were busy, but fast. I considered giving them only 4 stars because they don't have nonfat milk., but man, that percent milk sure is creamy.

This is an absolutely ideal example of what local coffee can be. The shop is beautifully inviting and feels like it could be at home in any major city, but here it is shining a big bright light on a reemerging downtown Rockford, IL. The coffee is on par with the best roasters anywhere and I have tried them in Chicago, Seattle, Portland, you name it. These guys get it. I liked the coffee so much, I have since placed an online order for coffee. When the package came, the included a free sample of another coffee. A++++

Have been here a few times and it's a Very pleasant coffee shop w/ great customer service. Seems small but there's upstairs seating not to mention the parklet in front. I do wish there was a couple more shade umbrellas (I'd rather set outside) but that's a personal preference. Great drinks great staff what more could you want.

Had great espresso. Beans are a dryer roast and not oily like other brands, especially in store brands. This helps keep your grinder clean. Good service as well.

In town for a wedding this weekend and asked the baristas at Starbucks by my hotel if they had a local shop they recommend. All were in agreement that this was the spot to try!
This place impresses me in a variety of ways. The first thing which stood out to me was its wonderful aesthetic. It's cozy and modern; providing a welcoming environment for many to come and get great coffee in a place which is great to either grab a coffee and go or stay awhile. The baristas are incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and made an extra effort to provide me quality service - even recommending great lunch venues in the neighborhood! Finally, and perhaps most importantly, they have great coffee. Roasting in small batches, this shop gaurantees that your coffee will be fresh, and the bean will retain it's full potential as you consume it.
I personally loved trying their New Orleans drink, and I actually came back later to try out their Nitro cold brew!
Oh, almost forgot, there's actually a great amount of seating! This establishment provides outdoor, lower level, and an upstairs seating area! Both the outdoor and upstairs have a wonderful peek into the main street district, and all areas feature great, natural lighting (a huge plus for me!)
Thank you for providing a welcoming environment which I will recommend for all!

A wonderful local place to stop in for a delicious coffee or tea. They do have muffins/scones/assorted snacks but are mainly about the drinks.
Quaint outside seating is available as well.
Absolutely love this place! They are the only downtown coffee shop in Rockford open on Sundays.

Great coffee and the like. Always friendly people to come and chat with. They don't have choices on sizes; which is kind of a downer but the coffee is really good so it's worth it. They have nitro coffee and also chai. This place is all about natural stuff and saving the planet. If you bring in your own cup, you'll get a 25 cent discount!

Maybe the Best Cappuccino Ever. I was in town for my daughter's dance competition at the Coronado Theater, which claims to be the crown jewel of Rockford, and stopped in Rockford Roasting for a quick cappuccino. I actually think Rockford Roasting should make that claim. I have been all over the country and I am telling this place has the best cappuccino. The espresso is perfectly roasted with several layers of delicious flavors. The barista was especially good. Very precise preparation of the ground beans in the portafilter and adept milk frothing skills. They have an upstairs hang out area that has a really laid back and friendly vibe. Everyone was super cool.
