The Cup and the Scone

Cup and Scone is my favorite place of business to visit in Pontiac. The beverages are amazing and the staff is helpful with recommendations if you happen to be indecisive or just want to try something new. I'm a fan of their muffins and scones as well. Love their coffee cake when it's available! Cup and Scone is one of the very few places of normalcy left. I like that I can wear a mask or not. I appreciate the liberty and respect of it being my choice. I love that I can see the friendly, smiling faces of the staff. The atmosphere is calm, down to earth, warm, and inviting. Truly a place where one can sit down, take a deep breath, and relax.

I love that Pontiac has a quaint little coffee shop. It's a great place to work while I'm visiting, as well as a solid cup of coffee.

The last time I was there, an aroma was wafting through the place. Come to find out they were baking coffee cake for distribution to Bloomington. I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a piece and let me tell ya. If you catch them at baking time and you can snag a piece of this, you won't regret it.

The only bad thing I can say about the shop, is that on occasion, I've had a few shots of espresso, and it's been screaming hot, but that's an easy temp adjustment. Other than that, the service is great! The coffee, whether you get drip or a latte, great! And the scones and coffee cake are great!

The coffee shop is outstanding in appearance. Relaxing, inviting, personable. I was traveling to visit my sick mother and they made me feel welcome the minute I passed through the door. I ordered coffees for mom and myself and they guided me through the options. Did not disappoint. I’ve returned several times; each time is perfect. I returned too and visited with friends. One thing that impressed me was, they volunteered to pray for mom and me. That was heartwarming. I strongly recommend their coffee services for a coffee experience.

Such an awesome little coffee shop! Great place to study or catch up with a friend. I was there listening to hours of lectures, and the manager came a couple different times to let me try samples of different drinks! Definitely 5 stars!!

A cute place with good lattes and amazing baked goods. I went here while visiting family in Pontiac. I'll admit I've not had the best experiences with food/beverages in Pontiac before, so I went in without high expectations, but this place has better baked goods than my local coffee place in Chicago. The scones were the best I've ever had. The lattes were good too.

This place is truly amazing. Wonderful staff and the best coffee. I live 2 hours north and had a meeting here and my coffee got cold and before I left I wanted to reheat it there and instead they just gave me a fresh cup and said have a great drive home. Wonderful experience and the tilt is the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had! Must get here

Great coffee and tea! Gluten free delicious baked goods and a smile greet you! Upstairs has room for study groups and downstairs is cozy and comfortable. Cup and Scone is perfect for a short break or a companionable chat! You will love the atmosphere.

They have teenagers who are very nice working there. Today the kid very nice to us and explained everything. We went there in the loft to do homework with friends and it was a nice atmosphere. Little expensive but not much
