The Cup and the Scone

Very nice coffeehouse in Pontiac, good sized space. Nice and open, with some comfortable booth seating.
The people working behind the counter were very friendly and patient with me, as I hadn't been there before, so my ordering wasn't too quick.
The coffee was good and their baked goods are as well.
Staff kept the place clean inside and wiped off tables (things that some establishments forget to do). So that's nice.
I'll go back!

A great place to have a quality pour over coffee and some delicious cakes to choose from.
There's an English theme so don't be surprised by the knight in armour!

If you are ever drive to or through Pontiac, IL, be sure to swing by the Cup and Scone Coffee House. This place is a gem. Truly excellent cup of coffee (I had the Mule) and fresh crumbly scones. Service was wonderful, warm and welcoming, and the young man was most enthusiastic about the blueberry scones. Be sure to drop by and take a seat. You’ll be glad you did. ☺️

We felt very welcomed in this coffee shop. They know how to make a great cup of coffee, and try their home-made scones.

These guys WANT to serve great coffee, but as far as I can tell have never had a good cup in their lives. They make their alt milks themselves and they completely spoil the drink. Suggest using national brands. Their style was a bit amateur. Using tap water for their drinks, poor ratios in the latte. Suggest reading the Barista's Handbook as it would greatly help bring this place up a much needed notch or two. Great atmosphere.

Great coffee, environment, and service. Can't wait to visit this place next time in town for Disc Golf.

I got the White Knight latte and it tasted amazing. The manager was super nice and very friendly. He gave us free samples of muffins and chocolate torte which also tasted great. Loft upstairs is very calm, clean, organized and a great place to read a book or work in your computer. I definitely recommend this place.
