Skydive Chicago

A review can't possibly fully describe the happiness, care, and magic we felt yesterday as our Dad jumped out of an airplane for the first time in his life at the age of 68. Skip has Multiple Sclerosis and is usually in a wheelchair, and has little use of his arms or legs. He always dreamed of flying. Yesterday that dream came true, and the first thing he said when he landed was, “I'm doing that again.”

The team at Skydive Chicago worked with us from day one, and the care, kindness, and professionalism shown to our family is something we will never forget. Every single person we interacted with at your facility showed us kindness and encouragement and gave us so much hope. Skydive Chicago is like a well-oiled machine with a heart of gold and the sweetness of the best ice cream sundae you've ever had. Like this place gets all the colorful sprinkles for the special kind of deliciousness they're bringing into the world. Life-changing work.

And don't even get us started on Chad and his team. On the ride home (totally worth the drive), we talked about how lucky we were to have chosen Skydive Chicago and to be paired with Chad and his team. It was absolutely amazing. Chad was kind and attentive to our questions. He eased any worries we might have about our Dad’s big day by showing a great mix of humor and professionalism. Chad and his friends took care of him like they would a close friend.

Our Dad rolled in in his wheelchair and moments later was securely flying out of an airplane. Wheelchair on the ground. Dad in the air. Magic. And the videographer/photographer's energy and personality was so fantastic and made the experience that much better.

It's not just an adrenaline rush for the person jumping, but I think it's a rush of happiness for the people watching the magic of the day. It's not just a place where you're picking up a new hobby but a place where you see the world through new eyes.

The media package we ordered (the deluxe was perfect!) was already waiting for us in our email when we arrived back home. We were ecstatic to see the gorgeous video and pictures that were put together so well and will give us the most incredible memories from this amazing experience. The videos showed awe, energy, and appreciation for life that could probably only be experienced through this type of activity, and the beauty that is seen from your location.

Skydive Chicago, this is a day our family will never forget and hold in our hearts forever. Thank you for being YOU. And I don't think it's the last you'll be seeing of our Dad! We knew something had changed evermore when he mentioned the fist bumps he had with his new skydiving friends while up in the air! And you know he’ll bring the jokes! We look forward to seeing you again!

Did my first tandem skydive today and it was amazing! Ginger and Chad were awesome in making the jump fun and they were super professional! 10/10 would do again!

I went skydiving here last weekend and I would definitely come back! My instructor was Chad and I loved him! He was hilarious, obviously very experienced, and made me feel safe and prepared the whole time, as did the other staff. Also, the media I bought was amazing. Sean made an awesome video that I can look back on whenever I want to relive this incredible experience. I truly recommend skydiving with Skydive Chicago! Thank you for helping me check skydiving off my bucket list, and special thanks to Chad and Sean :)

Most amazing experience!!!! It was my first jump and Chad was awesome, he explained everything he wanted me to do clearly. Can’t wait for Jump #2!!!!

The skydive itself was absolutely amazing! If you are ever considering skydiving, first of all, do it. Second, this is the place to go. The staff was lovely and approached my friends and I before we even asked any questions. They were super friendly and beyond helpful. Amazing staff. The only things holding me back from giving this a 5 star review is the option to stay the night in a cabin. There aren't any bathrooms or trashcans inside, so you must go outside of the cabin to use those things. But that isn't the end of the world. I would easily recommend Skydive Chicago to anybody.

Have 5 jumps so far and all have been amazing. Great instructors, good food at their cafe and overall a great time!

Amazing experience!!!my instructor Kacey was phenomenal!! He made the entire experience relaxed and super fun!!! Defiantly something everyone will to try should try in their lifetime!!!!

Super sick first jump! Did a tandem with Ryan, super chill guy that gives great instruction, and had Chad behind the camera 📷 awesome experience, 10/10 recommended. Get out there and jump 🤙🤙

100/10 Chad was the best tandem instructor. The experience was so great I went twice!
