Skydive Chicago

My wife and I did our first tandem skydive jump for our second wedding anniversary at Skydive Chicago. Our instructors were Chad and Silvio who were both great! They both provided clear instruction and kept the mood light for us as nervous first time jumpers. Our photographers were Matt and Ron who pumped us up to get great photos we’ll cherish the rest of our lives. Additionally, as other people have mentioned, everyone made us feel like we were part of the community from ground level, up in the air, and then back on the ground. We cannot wait to go back!

I chose Skydive Chicago for my first skydive and could not recommend it more!! Ginger was my tandem instructor and she was the best! Jumping with Ginger, I felt safe the entire time and she made the whole experience very fun. My videographer, Michael, was also a blast and got some awesome footage of the jump and free fall! I was originally nervous to skydive, but Skydive Chicago was the perfect place to start. I can tell safety is a priority there, and the instructors have a ton of experience as well as a genuine love for the sport.

I cannot thank Amanda & Johnny enough for this wonderful second jump experience!! It was perfect, beautiful, breathtaking, and all the vibes baby!! Johnny & Amanda are so much fun & they made this jump that much more special! This was their last jump of the day and I’m sure they had the same energy levels that morning! Blessed to have had these two! Thank you a million times over for being such beautiful souls. Def RSVP’ing these two for my third jump! Because babbbyyy I can’t see myself jumping without this hype crew!! Freaking perfection! & Johnny with his tricks in the sky, my goodness! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! & Amanda, the most awesome babe out there, her tips for the pics & her overall aura shined! The most amazing experience I’ve had thus far. To jump out of a plane and relish in the moment of peace while falling from the sky, nothing compares. Sky diving, what a beautiful invention! Flying throughout the blue skies, taking it all in, what more could one ask for. Utterly amazed, blessed and in love with this new found joy. Thank you to all of those who made this possible! A special thank you to Alfredo and Josh for making this experience that much more amazing!! Jumping out of an airplane to complete bliss, perfection! Alfredo & Josh were the extremely kind and encouraging. The pictures were beautiful and the video was astonishing, I have played it over 100 times now haha. Much love!

This was my first tandem jump, my guide that I jumped with was Ginger. She was absolutely amazing! She told me her story and answered all my questions. I went with my aunt and my cousin, they also loved their guides. It was the most amazing experience and getting the selfie package made us be able to share our experience with others driving home and being able to look at our videos and pictures are so funny. We all plan to go for a second jump. 1000% everyone should go.

Above all else I was totally safe and secure. I can see in the photos he's focused on getting the job done, and I'm can't thank him enough for all he did to make my first jump an unbelievable success.

Loved our trip to Skydive Chicago! I surprised my friend on his 41st birthday and took him for his first jump. Both of our instructors (Grant and Chad) were incredible! Nothing like it, and we will be returning soon!

Baxter was great for our first tandem jump. He's got over 8,500 jumps under his belt and knew exactly what he was doing. He explained everything very well and the repetition helped a lot so by the time we jumped out of the plane, it was smooth sailing. It was absolutely amazing going through the cloud. Surreal experience. He's Canadian and explained that I should lift up my legs to avoid becoming a toboggan/sled 😂 gave excellent pointers.

Eric "Fly Easy" was an awesome instructor. He's based out of California, but stops by the Chicago-land area from time to time. Makes sure you understand how to unfasten a seat belt. Would recommend.10/10
