I wrote the review below 4 months ago, and have since returned to see how they are doing for three days in a row. The good news is that there seems to be a good supply of their continuing delicious vegan zucchini bars and vegan chocolate cupcakes, but, the bad news that each of these items now cost $3.60. I'm not saying they are priced unfairly - these days, who knows? All I know is that they are definitely out of my price range. Back to goldbelly.com for my vegan treats!

I'm sorry to write that I have been disappointed in this place for the last couple of months for their lack of vegan treats every time I go. I typically only go there to get takeout vegan treats, and it seems more and more every time I stick my head in and look at the cases (different days and times), no vegan cupcakes, vegan zucchini bars, Powerballs, etc. Typically, they will have vegan strudel, but, you can only have that for so long...and their vegan coffee cake, which is the ONLY vegan treat I dislike, since it basically tasteless. I know they had a refrigerator case go out on them, a couple of weeks ago, but, still few/no vegan treats.

Food has been kind of hit or miss in my few years as a customer. Especially for take-out, my food is very poor quality and not worth the money. Even though there are many staff members who wear masks, I'm always grossed out to see the cooks and the owner always mask-less around my food. Wish they'd change that and improve the food quality.

Customer service is absolutely top-notch! I had a slight inconvenience after an online order, on a less than stellar day personally. I sent a message on their website and was stunned to receive almost immediate correspondence, taking measures to fix my concern and then some. Not only was the response professional, but sweet and thanked me for the support. What an amazing effort! This is a wonderful place, ran by true industry professionals. The food and coffee is unique and delicious, highly recommend!

Nice and roomy with an older fashioned ambiance. Not enough staff, based on my last 6 Saturday visits, wait times for placing an order are long and they have only had 1-2 people running the counter and making drinks. During my visits, I have yet to see any staff sanitize a table. Coffees are ok, but they need to filter their water.

I'm not a vegetarian, but whenever I'm here I order veggie burgers. It's usually done so well that it tastes better than regular meat burgers

Nice place for breakfast. It has good vegan options. Oatmeal pancake tasted good. Quiche with zucchini and arugula was delcious.

Interesting local coffee spot. Relatively quiet inside, even with a good smattering of customers inside. One or two people at each table, with laptops galore. Studying or working, it's tough to know, but it's a regular hangout for all college aged and up.

Counter service is good. Menu is a challenge if you aren't familiar, but options are great. There's a pastry cooler/display on one side of the order counter, but it's not easy to order from the menu and the pastry counter at the same time (you can see one at a time, not both). And order prep takes a while, so there's no real dashing if you're in a hurry.

Pastries we tried we're both outstanding. We didn't have coffee, so I can't speak to that. The hummus plate was really good, and we recommend the spicy hummus.

Definitely worth a visit. Come when you have time to wait and relax.

I think this is a really great coffee shop and cafe!!!! I haven't explored their espresso drinks just yet but their iced coffee and smoothies are up to par!

I LOVE THEIR MENU. I had such a hard time deciding on what I wanted to eat because it all sounds so healthy and delicious!!! Usually I'm stuck looking at the menu trying to decide on what will be healthiest, but here I'm able to focus on what will be yummiest

Amazing amazing amazing! It's been a while since I've been there but I LOVED it still! Amazing food at a fair price. The tomato basil mozzarella sandwich was so amazing I had to order 2!! We loved the cappuccino too!!!! LOVE the food, people, staff, and environment :) going again next Saturday!!!

Great coffee choices, but, the best reason for me to keep coming here are the daily offerings of at least one vegan food item - and they are all delicious! Their "Tofu Scrambler" is very good too. Places to sit outside, as well as inside, and open starting at 7am (for sure during the week) make this THE place for me to come to in the mornings.
