Finally there is quality coffee in the suburbs.
Having lived in the city for many years I became accustomed to very high end coffee. After moving back to the suburbs I found my life lacking in this department. Hansa Coffee has filled a void in my life that I have very desperately needed.
The coffee here is amazing, everything from the made to order cups of coffee(pour over) to all the espresso drinks. They generally have around 6 different single origin coffees along with their blends to take home as well.
The staff here are very friendly, something not always common among high end coffee roasters. Everyone smiles & remember my name making me feel very comfortable and at home whether I'm coming in to grab and go or hang out in the store.
Wish this store the best and I hope they are around for a very long time!

Hands is one of the best local coffee shops in lake county. The one in Libertyville is just as good. It is difficult to find shops that roast their own beans and Hansa DOES! Also their gluten free muffins are really good and I don't care about gluten or gluten free...

Stopped by this roaster after work one day and picked up an outstanding bag of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. Probably the best I've ever had. On the other hand I was not impressed with their cold brew, so take note if you're going during the summer. Otherwise it's a great little roaster in a great little area.

Love their drip coffee, espresso drinks, and the vegan/gluten-free muffins! Decent price points and love the environment. Always great service and thoughtful seasonal drinks.

So happy to have a new place for coffee. ..and not just coffee, but the best coffee you can find anywhere. Lake Bluff is lucky to have such a great business in the comunity. I just wish they could have found a larger space,I have a lot of business meetings there

Possibly my favorite coffee shop in Lake County, this cozy, locally roasting coffee house has everything from single origin brews to teas to baked goods served by a kind and knowledgeable staff. It also offers a good environment to get some studying done or sit outside and hangout with friends barring it's warm enough.

Stopped in to work a bit before a lunch meeting. The staff was incredibly engaged and made you feel really welcome! Very upbeat and the coffee was great too. Definitely coming back when I get the chance!

Loved their iced maple latte and cinnamon buns. Hansa’s coffee is really some of the best I’ve had. The staff was really nice, and the shop is really cute.

Great service, nice friendly and fast employees!! Unique options but the plain coffee is delicious on its own. Amazing non dairy options... Macadamia nut milk??!! How unique and delicious! Yum. So glad we stopped through.

4 stars for now, but might change next time I visit. I brought my dog to walk the area and they had seating outside. I asked my husband to go in and get a sweet latte and breakfast. Got a maple latte which is reasonably sweet, I will order again and ask for a extra sweetner next time! My standard drink is a white mocha from Starbucks so im use to very sweet. I didn't get to go inside so I can't comment about the atmosphere, but the barista upon seeing my dog came outside to greet him. Very nice staff. The reason for my 1 star off was due to non-speciality sweets. Like a plain flavor for picky people like me, they had various healthy gluten free options like blueberry lemon, pumpkin something, chocolate zucchini, but I like chocolate, cinnamon, lemon poppy etc very traditional. I appreciate the healthy alternative just a simple muffin person. Next time I'll go in and sit, maybe update the review.
