Ordered an almond milk latte and gluten free biscotti. The foam on my latte was fantastic, not usually the case for almond milk. The espresso was full-bodied and rich, but smooth. The lemon poppy seed biscotti crumbled nicely and was very tasty, much appreciated little snack to accompany my latte. The service was quick and friendly, and the interior was fun with a decent amount of tables and cute bathrooms. Older kids hanging out and being a little loud, but I appreciate having these types of places around for youth to enjoy.

It's the quaint little coffee shop that every town wished they had! Coffee was not outragously expensive, and they offered fun foam creations with their lattes.
The staff was very kind and respectful and we're happy to see us when we would come in!

Excellent coffee and outstanding service! I was shocked that there was no way to tip the servers when paying with a credit card. The two young women at the counter were working extremely hard and had great attitudes. Unfortunately, many people were paying with a credit card. The machine they used does not allow you to add a tip if you’re paying with a credit card. It’s a shame that the owners do not value the staff enough to update their credit card terminal to allow them to be compensated for their outstanding service.

The pastries are amazingly good and fresh. Great atmosphere and a friendly staff member is always waiting for me.

Beautiful coffee shop in downtown Lake Bluff!

we love the cafe and coffee however we have run into one employee a few times now who seems to always be in a bad mood and today oct 18 we had him again and same thing just has bad attitude and makes a feel like we are an inconvenience for him. we gave 3 stars due to the fact the coffee and the rest of the staff are super.

Pour-over was great, the best one in Lake country. But the place itself is OK... There is another Hansa place in Libertyville and an atmosphere there is much-much better

Great and fresh coffee. Clean and welcoming establishment. Staff is great and very easy to talk to. Their muffins and carrot bread are fantastic! Absolutely love coming here all the time.
