Owl and Lark

Been coming back here every now and then just to see how it compares to the other numerous coffee shops I've been too. The overall vibe and location of the shop is what I'd picture a coffee shop should be. The espresso is good and is near perfect if Logan is working because he knows how to make a potent espresso. Out of the multiple lemon bars that I've had, their lemon bar comes a close 2nd. It's nice, airy, little crunch, and can still taste the lemon through all of that! I've spent under $7 for an espresso and lemon bar so prices are reasonable. If you can get past the at times questionable service, then their is a lot to be had here.

Nice , Quaint , Clean Juice Bar. I appreciate the design too. It’s beautiful. It’s a bit pricey 8$ + for a juice but it’s good for you so spend the money. I’ll add pictures too. If you like my pics check out my IG _dan_chi

I had the Rose Cardamom latte - it was delicious! Ordering was a breeze, the website is very easy to use. I called when I arrived and they brought my drink out to me (gloved and masked). Will definitely be going again!

Pretty, fresh, and delicious. Everything was perfect, just at a price! $$ I guess it's worth it, but can't afford to come every week.

Amazing smoothie bowls. My favorite is the magic bowl and comes with a bunch of superfoods. The workers were kind and the atmosphere is welcoming. My new favorite spot!!

I had an açaí bowl here today. Prices are completely different than posted up here online. Bowls range from $11-$13. Very small portion which was fine! Nicely presented but as I got to the bottom of the bowl.. half of it was frozen solid on the bottom !!
Not worth it for the price.

Have been here many times, and it has usually been great except yesterday. Came in 20 minutes before closing and all the chairs were up like it was closed. Staff didn't seem happy to see 3 customers come in 20 minutes before closing. We ate there til 6 but the atmosphere was very uncomfortable.
If you are open til 6 pm, then stay open til 6 pm. Once it's 6 pm, then lock up and don't serve anyone. But let the people who came in before 6 enjoy their meal. Or have a take-out only policy after 530 pm.
Was left with a really bad taste in my mouth. Will begin to explore some of the many other smoothie/health food options in the area. We uses to drive from Lombard to eat at this place. Anyone know of other good places in the area?

I didn't try food here. But they have great coffee. The bad side of this place is that it is only a bit small. But that is not a bad thing sometimes.

Had the Yame sencha tea and the salmon bagel and it was such a great combo. One of the best to go breakfasts I had in awhile. Never have been disappointed from this place.

Quaint coffee shop with a nice variety of coffee, juices and food selections. Favorite items are the lavender latte and smoothie bowls. Great spot for a good for a good read and a good cup ☕.
