Stemm's Cafe & Coffee Shoppe

My fiance and I love goin to hole in the wall restaurants. Stemm's may be my new favorite hole in the wall. It sits on a corner and is just the cutest little restaurant. The food is phenomenal!! I had the Stemm Stack, which consists of biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, and two eggs all on top. I ate half and probably should had stopped a little sooner. My fiance had the loaded omelet with a side order of biscuits and gravy. He did eat all of his but later regrets it, lol. They give you plenty of food just like the grandmas and mom do way down south. Gotta make sure you're well fed. So if you love great food from a hole in the wall please absolutely go the Herrin Illinois and visit Stemm's Cafe & Coffee Shop!!

Very friendly atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Worth the trip. Had fried eggs, hash browns, toast, and coffee. Impressive selection.

We eat here about once a week and they NEVER disappoint! They are definitely the best place to get food in Herrin!

Wish I could give 20 stars on this place. Found in a random google search as I haven't stepped foot in Illinois in almost a decade. Inside is decorated very well. Employees and staff are very friendly and awesome. The food? Out of this world. Got a breakfast stacker and so much flavor in the gravy, biscuits were pillowy, hashbrowns cooked perfectly, sausage and bacon tasted heavenly, eggs were perfection. A heaping mound of food, wife had to help me finish it and I'm not a small fellow. Absolutely will be coming back here if visting from south carolina. Keep doing exactly what y'all are doing and don't change. If looking for a breakfast or brunch spot, please come here you will not be disappointed. Wife's french toast she says was amazing as well.

Visiting my family in Herrin this week and work remotely. Stopped in for breakfast and stayed for hours working off their free wifi. Best cinnamon roll of my life and a great iced latte. The owner is a super cool dude too. 10/10!
