Stemm's Cafe & Coffee Shoppe

My family moved into this area a couple of months ago. Missing our normal routines and friendships, we wondered in to this cafe one day. I’ve visited 2-4 times a week since. The loaded omelette is AMAZING. The coffee is AMAZING. The hospitality is AMAZING. The customer service is AMAZING. I love this cafe.

We really enjoyed this cafe. The food was great! The service was quick! Loved everything about it! I also got a mocha latte that was fabulous! We'll be back!!!

The menu looks great! A shame they don’t have any of it available to be eaten. They claimed that our order was “too big” for them. 10am, we try to place an order for some sandwiches/wraps/soups for lunch at 12noon. They made it seem like it was a hassle to make 14 sandwiches (some only 1/2 sandwiches) They had NO BREAD & no soup!!! How can you have a sandwich place with no bread!?!?! Just perplexes me. Seems like this place just wants to be a restaurant & not an operating, functional business. Of course…with no bread, not much of a restaurant either. I don’t expect this place to last long if they can’t offer the things to their customers that THEY chose to put on their menu. Seriously disappointed in this place & the way they made us feel like our business was just too much of an effort for them. I will not be giving this place ANY of my hard earned money in the future & will recommend to everyone that asks that they should support a business owner that actually cares about their customers. Stemm’s…search your heart!!!

The staff are exceptionally nice. Unfortunately, the sandwiches are bland. They don't taste bad, just not of much.

Great place to have breakfast and coffee with friends. I had the French toast with an americano today and loved it.

Went in this morning for breakfast and it was phenomenal. Ordered a bunch of things that I did not intend on eating entirely, just wanted to taste a bit of everything and it was all delicious. The cream cheese on the bagel was somehow way better than mine at home, the biscuits and sausage gravy were insane, French toast, sausage egg and cheese biscuit, coffee, water, all of it, superb. I was amazed with how low the cost of my meal was for all the quality food that I received. The whole entire staff took very good care of me and made sure I enjoyed my experience. Will be coming back and would advise anyone looking for a better than good breakfast to head to Stemm’s.

This cafe has the most delicious food I have ever had! The customer service is wonderful every time! I recommend this place to everyone I know and am never disappointed

Stemms Cafe is amazing! The coffee is unmatched and the food is even better. The Stemms are such sweet people and their smiles and warm welcomes always make you feel at home and make you want to come back. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who's in the area!

Best place in So. IL for breakfast! (served til noon) Their french toast is AMAZING!! My hubby Josh and I dine at Stemm's 1-2x/wk. (The ONLY 1 star review tells an untrue story that did NOT even happen that way. It given by an angry lady who doesn't even live here, she lives in New England, trying to order lunch for a local business. If she had EVER stepped foot in Stemm's, she would know how great it is, & how much the owners DO appreciate each & every customer, & are very friendly.

This place is a hidden Gem..the food and Coffees were off the hook goodness..we shall soon be back to have breakfast...The owners are both great hosts...very relaxed atmosphere...5 Star in my books!!!!
