I have been twice now and will continue to go. This place reminds me of a small coffee shop or diner back east somewhere. It’s nostalgic. Places like this is what is missing from the region.
I’ve tried a cinnamon roll, biscuits and gravy and
two separate occasions I had the French toast. With the biscuits and gravy, personally,
I liked that the meat was added to the top of the gravy instead of cooked cooked with the gravy. That’s not something I see a lot so it was unique. The gravy itself was kinda bland but the biscuits were nice.
The cinnamon roll was okay. It didn’t have any overpowering sweetness like some rolls do.
The first time I had the French I thought it was pretty good. It has that home cooked flavorful taste. It reminded me of the kinda french toast a relative would make if the relative was known for having the best french toast in the family.
It’s not the best French toast in Southern Illinois but it’s definitely worth giving a second ordering.
Which I did.
The second order was not as good as the first and I’d say that it tanked the score. I can’t speculate about the cause for the decrease in quality but I can sympathize. So, I’ll be back.

Great meal and chill atmosphere. I ordered the turkey club and hamburger soup. It was fantastic. I was so pleased to hear they are now open till 7. My hubby and I are coming back tonight!

OMG if you haven't stopped at this lil restaurant in Herrin, IL then u haven't had truly amazing food! "The Stack" is the best breakfast meal you could ever have! Seriously makes u wanna smack ur momma! Lol jk but for real though!

Very friendly staff and delicious food! We tried the biscuits and gravy, slider, loaded omelette and a creme brûlée iced coffee. It was all fresh and delicious. The coffee was delicious and they have so many awesome flavors to choose from. The ingredients for the food were fresh and real. We will definitely be coming back for another coffee and to try the lunch menu.

Drove in from Virginia to visit with my children and my granddaughter. Ordered the stack and it was very good. Clean and nice environment. Wonderful people running the cage. Definitely recommend

This was my first time going here and I’ll definitely be back! I am not a coffee drinker, so Jason (the owner) recommended I try the Crème brûlée steamer. It was so good! I thought it tasted like warm Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I had a BLT wrap as well and it was huge and delicious! Definitely will be back soon!

Cute little diner and coffee shop. Fast and friendly service. Awesome breakfast!! And so many frappe flavors to choose from!
