During mornings it's usually a first come first serve kind of place. You should get a table first, than go order (it can be quite busy sometime, so someone will ask you to wait 10-20 min before ordering). Drinks are put near the cashier, food is served to your table.
During dinners the place is much less crowded. The dishes are not as great in the morning though.
The service is generally good and the food/drinks are mostly great.
It is a bit noisy, and if you need to use the restroom it can take some time (unisex restrooms = guys actually need to wait).

The place is ok. The coffee was good, but ig was a very busy atmosphere. Also, very unfortunate style of operations, once you get a table and place your order to order something additionally you need to get back to a really long line. There is no staff to help out.

Great atmosphere and spacious, unfortunately no seating due to current situation. We had coffee and orange cake.. the cake was dense and a bit too sweet for our liking and the coffee was extremely weak, it’s like coffee flavored milk, great barista though, you can tell they know how to make a good coffee, perhaps it’s the beans used..

Delicious food. Great service. Excellent espresso drinks. Wondering self service still or sparkling water taps that remind me of our time in Europe. Perfectly prepared medium poached eggs. Atmosphere is busy as it is very popular for breakfast. But people courteously seem to know when to vacate their tables.

A much better menu than most coffee/ cafes. I had the delicious, fresh Kale & Fennel Caesar with lemon vinaigrette and a perfectly-sized tiny key lime tart. Decaf is meh. Gorgeous space with plenty of tables. Clean, well-lit. Lovely staff.

Great coffee and tea selection, very friendly service and lots of comfy seating. Desserts and pastries looked very yummy but I didn't sample any

My favorite café in the Chicago area. The food is great and it's a comfortable place to hang out, either with a friend or by yourself reading/working. The blueberry lemon pancakes are my favorite.

The most delicious brunch location. Their brioche french toast is fantastic, as are the buscuits and sausage gravy, and the spinach omlette. This place is usually crowded, so get there early to get a table. But the staff is adept at fitting people in and has a great system for finding you a seat.

Love this coffee shop and casual eatery. Their breakfast sandwiches are outstanding. The space is really cool too. a very popular place so come early for breakfast. We got there at 8.30 on a Sunday and waited for about 25 mins in line.

Slightly unorthodox serving style. You get assigned a number for seating, then you order at the register. Food comes out to your table, buy you have to go pick up drinks at the counter. The food is great. The Number 5 croissant sandwich is filling and budget-friendly. The French Toast is large and soft, with sweet mascarpone. I especially enjoyed the Country Benedict, which trades muffins, ham, and hollandaise for classic biscuits and sausage gravy under its poached eggs. This is a great brunch spot in Evanston, but get here early - it might be busy!
