This place is frequented by Northwestern students regularly and has a nice aesthetic. I ordered a matcha latte with oat mill, so maybe it's my fault, but the drink itself could have had more sugar or oomf to it. The outdoor seating area is alright.

Quaint and cozy coffee shop that has more than just standard coffee shop offerings but with a certain Filipino flair. Right off the purple line Noyes stop for some convenience but definitely worth a stop to take a break.

The location is very convenient (across the street from the Noyes L), and it's in a great Northwestern U. neighborhood. The coffee is good, but not spectacular, but its big inside with plenty of tables inside and out. I like to sit outside and watch the L and students walk by on their way to school.

Located just outside of the Noyes L stop it is one of the most unique coffee shops in the area. Plus it's just minutes away from Northwestern and downtown Evanston so it's a great place to stop while out and about. They stay true to traditional espresso beverages but also add an international flare to their products. Drinks and pastries come from an influence of Filipino, Korean, and Japanese recipes. Pastries available will vary each day based on demand, but I do recommend you go early as they do sell out! One of their more unique coffee's in town in the Ube Latte. After hearing so much about this and my deep love for anything Ube I had to try it out. Wow it was amazing and one of the best drinks I have tried in town. Their Ube latte is just unreal. They offer a variety of different milks to use which is great for anyone dairy free. The latte which I ordered hot was topped with a beautiful heart and full of flavor. It tasted as if I were drinking a creamy heavenly coffee full of the Ube flavor. For those who have not tried anything Ube, you should. The closest thing I could describe it as would be a variation of a yam, but purple. After all who doesnt want to enjoy a colorful drink on a dark winter day! If Ube isnt your thing, they have traditional coffee drinks, tea, matcha, and other fun holiday flavors such as peppermint smores. They also sell coffee beans to go for those days you cant make it into the store. If you are hungry they also offer a variety of different treats in store or you can order online through their shop. I tried one of the donuts sold. It was a fruity pebbles lemon donut and it was amazing. Really enjoyed our experience and cant wait to go back!

A great Northwestern University coffee shop. Hard to get a table. Lots of academic energy in there.

Best cappuccino. Baristas truly care about quality of products and services. They are also the only coffee shop in the area that sells specialty baked goods like local scones, fresh Japanese, Filipino, and Korean pastries.

I really enjoyed the ambience and their drink options there, but I was there on a cold March and the cafe was way too cold. I wanted to stay longer, but was forced to leave earlier because it was too cold inside.

I can understand they don't operate on Sundays, but I really wish they did. The pour overs are delicious and done just right. I asked about the water temperature, and the staff gave an exact number both for brewing and when served (I was told about 201 degrees). There are always Northwestern students set up with computers or assignments and working quietly/diligently. The place has seating for about 50, so even if you don't want to share a table with a student, there are a few counter and two-top seats. They have some baked goods in a display case. Nothing gf that I could see, but all looked tasty. Beans are sold whole in vacuum packed bags at a range of prices, up to about $20 (for the highly coveted Indonesian bean that I prefer). Definitely stop here if you really need that perfect cup of joe.

We visited for the fourth time and we've had nothing but consistency. I suggest going in the late afternoon as that's when you receive a full service experience and barista takes his time to perfect your drink. Being former coffee shop owners in Seattle, this place has become our go to. This is also the only place in the north shore where you can find REAL Ube pastry.
