Coffee Lab Evanston - The Study Spot, Filipino Ice Creams, Croissants, & Asian Breads

Coffee Lab became a staple of mine as a student in fall 2019, then quite literally a part of my home when I moved into the building for the ‘21-‘22 school year. I have lost count how many times my friends and I have sent texts to each other just saying “Lab?” over the past 3 years. Service has always been exceptional, and if you go in enough you (and your drink!) will be remembered by the staff. It’s a great study or socializing spot, and really a centerpiece of my time living here. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors, and hopefully somewhere down the line I’ll get to visit again :)

Nice indoor vibe, especially for students. Ample seating. The latte, exceptional. I had my mocha latte taken accidentally, they immediately remade me one. Service is quick, and the drinks are phenomenal. Definitley coming back.

Delicious coffee and a good vibe, the only thing that would make this place better is if they had better WiFi.

Looked like a nice place to drop in…HORRIBLE cup of drip coffee….weak …watered down and overpriced. Nice atmosphere…but HORRIBLE coffee!

Very comfortable atmosphere, with great coffee and pastries plus attentive and knowledgeable staff.

One of my favorite local coffee shops! Delicious drinks with great alternative milk options. The special lattes have yet to disappoint; they're flavorful without being too sweet or taking away from the latte itself. The baked goods are also delicious; the chocolate muffin might be the best muffin I've ever eaten! Everyone is very friendly and it's a great spot for students to study as well.

I got a cortado - really good espresso drink done well and such a cute sit down environment. I've been wanting to try this place ever since I first saw it and am very glad I did!

Good service and must try their Ube latte.. it is made from the Ube roots and has a taste of biscuit and coconut 😀

Went there tonight and ordered cappuccino, dark roster coffee + and fresh japanese bun. Service is friendly, there are several pastries and it was delicious!
