I love this place! Food is always fresh tasting and and well prepared. Owners and staff are all friendly and attentive. On top of all this the price is right. Go here for excellent Mexican, fresh Guacamole,and even standard American fare.

I was very surprised by my experience at this rather new eatery on East William St. A friend had suggested us meeting there for dinner and I accepted and happy I am for this. The wait staff were friendly and most welcoming. The food was very tasty and very nicely presented. I believe it will become a popular spot very soon.

New Moon Cafe was a delightful morning experience! Stopped in with a friend while visiting from out of town. They had a great morning special 3.99 for 3 breakfast items. Ambiance and atmosphere was great, everything you would excpect from a home town diner. We left with warm cinnamon rolls and warmed hearts.

This will be my first and last time here. Came in tonight at around 6 pm. Some of the other patrons told us to seat ourselves. We picked a table along the mirror wall. We sat there for 10 minutes and were never greeted, given menus, or anything. I had looked up the menu online and was looking forward to trying the food, but we left and went elsewhere. So much for trying something new.

Great and amazingly friendly staff! Reflection of the kindness of the owners and the esquisite home cooking.😉 If your a traveler passing through Decatur for business or pleasure. Than I highly recommend the New Moon for a place to stop in for a quick and inexpensive bite to eat!

We love this place on Friday nights. They have live music and good food. The only problem is they only have 2 servers and it's always so packed that the service is slow. We wish they would hire another server.
EDIT: Thankfully they have hired another server! AND they are also going green... their straws are no longer plastic! YAY!
