New Moon Cafe

First time trying the New Moon Cafe and I was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly, & food was hot and fresh. I ordered scrambled eggs,bacon & French toast. I also added one of their in house cinnamon rolls to my order and was very glad I did! I ordered two more to take home with me they were so good!! Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends and family!

This was the best breakfast I’ve ever had outside my own four walls. The hash browns were impeccable and the croissomelet was unbelievably delicious. Coffee kept coming, and Cindy was on top of any of our needs.

Never had such bad service. We go there a lot and this was bad. Had to get our own menus. Took forever to get drink order and after that we just left. No welcome, no sorry, nothing.

Delivery was quick and doordash did a great job. That, however, is when things took a quick turn south. I can understand being served reheated casserole, but what cannot understand being served grey, slime, mold covered casserole that has clearly been forgotten in the back corner of a walk-in for a week and a half. And to then be told it was just made that morning - be honest with your customers. This is clearly not the way to get return business and positive feedback. I would like to thank you though for the colon cleanse that I did not order but that was included for free.

Had an early Friday night dinner around 5pm. Not busy at all and staff was very attentive. I ordered the Haystack and my wife had a chicken Taco Salad. The Haystack is a great breakfast dish and the portion was large. The chicken Taco Salad was a little bland and unseasoned, but good. We recommend and we will certainly return.

Waitress kept repeating order back incorrectly so the food was wrong and missing but did get charged for it. Kept getting told they would fix but didn't until it was time to leave. Tried to give me the amount owed with no ticket, told us the manager was there but yet had to reach her by phone when she saw we weren't leaving. Won't go back there again

Visited NMC for our second time with our daughter who attends Millikin. We really enjoy their menu - full and varied. Prices are really good and your tastebuds will sure to be pleased. We got lucky and after we ate on Friday because Don and Jerry, a local duo, were there to entertain us with the blues. What a fun time. New Moon better not get too popular! It is a best kept secret!

Breakfast was so delicious. The breakfast special on back of menu let's you create your own special.

First time here in about a year. I used to love this place. Pretty horrible experience today though. The French toast was raw. One piece of bacon was raw. The hash browns were super greasy. My friend got cheese on her omelette when she didn’t want any. The guy who brought our food acted as if we were inconveniencing him when I asked for silverware and condiments, huffing and puffing and interrupting me to say he is trying to find syrup??. Then he spilled coffee on our table and left it for us to attend to lol. Like king there are literally 5 people in this restaurant.. is the attitude and carelessness really necessary? I hate complaining but I told the girl waiter that the French toast was raw, I didn’t want more I just wanted to provide some feedback. She apologized at least but she didn’t offer to adjust my meal. It’s not a big deal since I didn’t ask. The prices are super cheap so I just paid and moved on with my day, but it’s usually common in hospitality to adjust the bill when the food is inedible as a gesture to keep your customer. Maybe it was an off day for them, but I’m def not coming back regardless.

Great food and drinks, nice atmosphere to hang out, pool tables available.
