Great coffee and staff! My only issue is their short and inconvenient hours. 8am-2pm seems odd for a coffee shop -- means they open after regular commuting times and close before most afternoon breaks. The rare I can beat the clock and get there before closing, it's great!
I would put this in contention for the premiere craft coffee location in Chicago. A variety of beans from different producers are available and a brilliant selection of which are used for their beverages and there's an accompanying selection of baked goods from Brite. Had a dreamy, perfectly balanced cappuccino with a delicate caramel sweetness. Available at the time was a Sweet Corn Blueberry doughnut from Brite which absolutely floored me. It wasn't excessively sweet like I've come to expect from doughnuts and it made for an amazing pairing with the coffee. Can't wait for my next visit. The country music on the speakers was great, too.
Love this corner spot, with super friendly/neighborly service. I've been in a few times, getting a pour over New Math coffee medium roast each time. Delicious coffee, cozy interior. Hope Side Project sticks around! Also, they have dope locally made trinkets for sale.
Great establishment. If you are around, I would definitely recommend to stop by and get some coffee and desserts! I always get the damen (iced) one of my favorites. Francis and the side project team are always very welcoming they treat you like family! Also they also feature items from people who have side projects and sell the items in the shop. It's a hidden gem in the area.
New coffee shop in Ravenswood. Some of the highlights are: Great donuts, cool art and wares that is very sneaker culture focused, use good coffee roasters, very friendly.
The biggest negative is the price. Expensive drip coffee and some of the whole bean coffee bags from local roasters seems marked up considerably, like 75% markup.
Also not sure if it's affiliated with Side Project Brewing in St Louis. I doubt it but it's the same name and same light bulb logo which is weird.
The staff couldn't be more friendly and energetic! Ordered the Barista's Choice which ended up being an Ube Latte which was absolutely perfect. Will be back soon to try some of their mouthwatering baked goods and donuts
The coffee shop with a street style vibe. They sell fair traded coffee and some merch too. Though they are not wheel-chair or stroller accessible, they offered to bring coffee outside. Great service!

Love the vibe. Cool place to hang out and get unique flavors. The owner Francis is awesome. Wish I lived in town to go every day.

A little bit of everything: from fun inventive drinks to traditional coffee experiences, but they all have one thing in common: They are delicious!
The staff is so kind and welcoming, it’s a joy to stop in and welcome addition to the area.

Got an iced Manila Matcha and it was incredible! The ube and matcha flavors are great together.
