A bit disappointed. Their famous matcha latte was barely luke warm and the batista had a bit of an attitude, like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed... not a lot of pastry options. Cool space to hang out, but I don't understand the high rating overall.
Highly recommend this coffee shop. My significant other and I stumbled across this place and ended up talking to the barista. I wish we got his name!!! He was so sweet and easy to talk too, my SO keeps mentioning how he wants to be his friend. The coffee here was delicious, the flavor was nice and bold with hints of floral. It tasted like I was drinking a flower garden.
Yummy yummy yummy. The pastries are huge and around 4 each but it’s worth for size and how filling they are. The matcha with the shot of espresso was the highlight, the location is also super cool. Good vibes!
Such a great place but such a small building. It has a great rustic and industrial vibe and every drink here is great, so it's easy to see why it's so popular. The drinks are so pretty you don't even want to touch them. Every time I've gone the line is out the door and there's never any seating.
Danny and Nancy are exceptional bartenders Very engaging, happy and helpful! I watched them SHOW complete class and PROFESSIONALISM toward a rude customer they smiled and still gave them the best service. I APPRECIATE THAT TYPE OF COMPASSION AND DEVOTION TO THE JOB!! BRAVO!! They are Gems
It is a hidden but very popular spot for a great coffee in Chicago. I have been traveling to Chicago over 2 years but never had a chance to visit. I finally made it this time.
This place is a bit difficult to locate if you are a first-timer. Once you find the place and take one sip of their great coffee, you will definitely feel it was worth the time and effort of following Google Map to find the place.
I ordered a Military Latte. It has very interesting and unique flavor in a good way - there isn't a word to describe it. It is completely different from the coffee you can get from Intelligentsia, Wormhole, or Metropolis. I'd say it is combined of Matcha latte and Caffe latte. Although it could visually look weird, it tastes very good.
Atmosphere wise, I fell in love with their interesting decor and vibe. They share a space with BBQ place, and there is a small hidden ramen restaurant in a basement.
Overall, I truly enjoyed the coffee and will come back soon!
Very good matcha lattes! The doughnuts from the Doughnut Vault we're okay, too sweet but that wasn't the focus of the cafe. It's shares the same place as Green Street Meats which is also a great BBQ/smoked meats restaurant.

Amazing atmosphere. The rustic feel of this place is nothing like I've ever seen. Also the food and drinks were pretty good.
