It was on our road to the garden. The place and service were good. We have ordered hot chocolate and one of the special drinks they made, not tasty.

I loved the atmosphere. Good coffee and pastries .

The first couple of times I went to Fairgrounds I did not care for what I had to drink. In time, however, I learned to talk to the baristas there about what I like. That is when I discovered a type of coffee drink called the Verve which is a light roast pourover. As far as coffees go the Verve is very smooth, not very bitter, but is very caffeinated. I've also had lattes and mochas there as well and they are quite good. Don't be afraid to ask for help ordering! The staff there are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a reward points program and it's always nice getting free coffee. (The beverage in the picture I took is not the drink I described in my review, but actually a latte).

Great location. Not huge for hanging out at inside, but big patio. Had a few things during this visit: a cortado and a Vietnamese cold brew. Both were pretty great, staff behind the counter worked well to handle the line.

Fairgrounds was my goto coffee location in the loop. No more- on my last visit they used curdled half and half in my $4 cup of pourover. That happens- what is hard to fathom is a barista defending the bad cream with “that’s how it’s supposed to be.” Coffee was undrinkable with chunks of curd and a sour milk taste.

A little pricey, but overall good. Drinks are very fresh.

Service was s little slow since only one person working but I loved my heart at the end, it made up for everything.

Love Fairgrounds! I had the metropolis cold brew! They have all sorts of varieties on tap, with a nice patio and views too!

Besides a peculiar interaction with the barista who insisted that a cortado was not coffee, this place was quite nice. Good decoration. The cortado was well made, and the coffee of good quality. If you're buying beans here, make sure to check the roast date - many of the bags on the shelf were roasted as far back as early June, so that's two months and a half from the time I'm writing this; well past its prime.

Cashier was a little rude, barista was awesome and friendly, coffee okay, nothing special. Ended up not finishing our drinks and going to Starbucks instead. Glad they reached out about it, updating review.
