Electric Mud Coffee Bar

I woke up early so I could hop off the Blue Line along my commute to pick up a Secret Santa gift. The level of customer service I received was unlike anything I’ve experienced at a coffee shop. One of the baristas came out to help me choose a camper mug for my colleague, and the other barista found a Dark Matter sticker from his own collection to add to my gift. Once I checked out, the barista who’d helped me pick out my gift gave me the coffee I ordered for myself free of charge!

Coffee was good. However, too many people working on their computers. Customers that make larger purchases cannot sit to enjoy their coffee and muffins.

My Airbnb host told me to check this spot out and it was really worth the trip. Great coffee, really nice baristas, and some solid jazz tunes to while away a morning.

Coffee is strong, espresso drinks are usually triples so be careful asking for an extra shot

Great coffee, pastries, upbeat environment, and kind service. Bathroom available at this location. A few tables for seating up front and back.
