Electric Mud Coffee Bar

Love this place! They are LGBTQ friendly; every person working there is very conscious, aware and courteous towards the customer. The person who took our coffee order was patient and helpful and made us feel welcome.
Love the coffee and the ambience. Will go back there every opportunity I have.

I love the Dark Matter brand and frequented Meddle almost daily before moving neighborhoods(open up in printers row please)! My only complaint was that service at this location was very slow compared to the usually speedy service at Meddle, where they put emphasis on "espresso only" orders so that its timely and fresh, preparing them even before or during more complex drink orders, even those placed prior to "espresso only" orders. Or maybe that's just Meddle and I was spoiled there. 😊

Observational query:
Why does it take like 40 seconds to finish a card transaction on any of Dark Matters POS system?

Really happy to have a location here near my house. It's really nice inside, but seating is limited. Quick service and easily accessible. Watch out, some drinks come out extremely hot and the lids might not always close right. I've always been a huge fan of Dark Matter coffee and will continue to support them.

Dark Matter definitely has high standards for their locations and this one does not disappoint. I love the theme & decor. Vibe is very chill, employees are friendly. Only thing that's weird to me is they don't *always* carry the agave latte, which I always thought was a DM signature.

This is a great coffee bar! Limited seating (about five to six two-seat tables) I got the barrel aged mocha and it was so delicious. Lighting and decor are fun. 10/10 recommend.

Ecstatic! Finally, Good Coffee in this neighborhood that is convenient and accessible. A great stop on the way to O'Hare especially when you almost forgot to buy a special memorable gift (retail available) from the great city of Chicago.

Over rated, coffee is average, staff is either super cool, or too hipster to be bothered by a simpleton like me.

Coffee was decent! Experience was very poor. Customer service wassss ummm...ignorant.

Our group of 4 walked in, shop had maybe 3 people that were cared for already. Took us a while to get service both employees were just kicking it and debating on what music to play next. No thanks! Next..

I can say the coffee is s delicious 👍🏼 and the
service excellent pretty good. I wish next time they have more tables and chairs to enjoy much more👍👍♥️
