What a gem... it's small place so be prepared ... seats are premium gets during busy times like the weekends.
It's got that old time diner feel, unpretentious and home made food.
... try the corn beef sandwich or the burgers which are huge!! They have great unique breakfast specials and Chris is a great chef/owner/ and nice guy.
Great to-go orders if you call ahead....
Lunch sandwich are huge too!! Big thumbs up!

Delicious breakfast and coffee. Service was quick and the atmosphere was perfect for a hungry Sunday morning. Hidden gem in the area.

So someone says the owner is selling so I'd advise you to head on down and try the ...BRISKET......

This place rocks. Good portions, reasonable prices, and one of the best breakfasts in Chicago. House made corned beef hash is excellent, and the service is too. I'll deal with takeout for now but can't wait to eat there again.

Everything here is so good! Iā€™m a big fan of the Chicken Vesuvio. You can also BYOB.

This is an awesome little diner, and it will take you back to the mid- 20th century! Food is good, reasonably priced, and service is friendly. Only drawback is space. This is a small diner, and always worth the wait if there is one.

Only reason it's not 5 stars is because I didn't see a restroom. Sorry but that's a big deal especially for a diner and if your hungover at said diner.
My spidy senses tell me the owner was a chef somewhere else, big time and he just needed a break which is awesome for us. His food is fantastic.
The sausage patties (hand made) are my personal favorites. And keep me coming in. The coffee selection is also surprisingly good but they need to train all the servers on how to make everything on the menu. I had that problem with a mocha the one day. Staff and head cook/owner are very nice. All in all I've yet to have a problem with the food. As every restaurant should be, they are consistent.
Also to the customers!!! YOU SHOULD BE AT A TABLE IF YOUR THERE WITH YOUR 5 YEAR OLD KIDS!! Thanks

Old school diner. Max group size is two. The joint is small so plan ahead. Their breakfast preparation is solid. Hash, omelets, breakfast sandwich, it's all tasty and fresh.
