This is a small, local diner. One page menu full of good breakfast and lunch options. Breakfast sandwich is delicious! Coffee is hot and staff keep it coming. There are veggie options too. Staff work efficiently but also take time to chat.

Veggie hash is great! Four hot sauce choices what else do I gotta say?

It's so great to have such a local gem in the area. The space is tight but the service is quick and friendly. The owner keeps it interesting with a cool rotating menu like "omelette with strawberries and cream cheese" which, in my opinion, is really original and sounds like it could actually be good? I got the Bacon, Dates and Goat Cheese Omelette and I was blown away with how delicious it was. Prices are reasonable with everything <$11. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

If your in the Jefferson Park area. Or anywhere within Chicagoland for that Matter. You must stop into Edgbrook coffee shop.

The corn beef hash was tasty and unique, but their pancakes were so good, we may have a new favorite pancake place!

A gem of yesteryear, the Edgebrook Coffee Shop is a classic diner with classic dishes.

If you’re looking for a classic cup of joe, with bacon, eggs, and toast: whatever you’re picturing in your mind is precisely what you will get.

Strongly recommend this place as a stop in for a bite of simple Americana.

This tiny space in Edgebrook has a great vibe, the food looked great, BUT the taste was just off. We had the hash (which they are known for), and it was not what we were expecting. We also tried the French toast, and it was underdone and mushy.
I wanted to love this place, but it did not deliver.

Amazing people, great cafe bar. Try Sofia's coffee cake! Hash is wonderful and fresh, pancakes are super fluffy and the omelettes are HUGE! Def a magical find!!

Seriously, when my daughter moved to this part of chicago, I didn't even realize places like this still existed. Sit at the counter, have a cup of coffee in a "Jack Reacher," porcelain cup and throw out the calorie counter. It's worth it. Get the polish sausage and eggs. Yum
