Coffee, Hip-Hop & Mental Health Cafe

Cafe with a very worthwhile mission to support. Great spot to chill and work from, especially if you're into hip hop. Everyone is friendly and inviting. Men's therapy most Fridays and group therapy most Sundays.

There are a lot of great coffee places in Chicago but this is next level. Got a cold brew with rose & oat milk. Beyond delicious & making my whole weekend. Love the atmosphere plus the mission: slam dunk.

I went in just looking for coffee and was on the block. I left feeling inspired by their mission as a nonprofit mental health organization that sells coffee to connect w the community and help raise funds. Christopher made our coffee while hanging conversation and talking to us about the mission of the organization. A truly great experience. I will pick air bnbs in this neighborhood just so I can support again in the future on my future visits to Chicago.

Amazing coffee, amazing mission, amazing baristas! This business works towards breaking down stigma and overcoming barriers around therapy and mental health care in communities of color and providing counseling and therapy for folks as well as education and outreach. Coffees are offered for donations, and proceeds go to supporting their mission. I got the Biggie brown sugar cayenne latte with oat milk and it was seriously fantastic. The vibe is wonderful and the coffee is delicious. I had a friend visiting from out of town when we stopped by and the barista gave her a free donut to welcome her to Chicago. Donut was also delicious. Made us feel welcome like old friends. Love supporting a business with such a great mission. Please support this business and help them empower our community!! I will absolutely be back. Thanks for doing everything you do!!!!

We love a nonprofit cafe, and this one has some of the best creative drinks I've ever had. Staff are awesome, vibes are solid. Support free therapy while enjoying a great coffee.

Such a good, welcoming space. Having spent a lot of time at the nearby coffee shops, this is the only place where the staff treat you like a whole human. No matter how busy, they are kind and genuine.
