Literally my favorite place to get coffee on campus. I love coming here to catch up with friends and study, it has a very welcoming atmosphere, and their espresso is perfect :) Definitely worth trying!!

Best coffee in the C-U area! Really cute study areas as well, especially after their revamp. The baristas are friendly and the coffee is really good. I also really appreciate how there are always new drinks to try.

First visit here and I ordered a simple latte. I also asked for oat milk to be added to it but was not told it would cost extra (like other places usually tell you). I only realized after paying for the drink. I also found the latte wayy too bitter and the milk was not hot enough. I heard great things about this place but was very disssapointed for a medium latte cup that costed me $6.5 :(

Brewlab has been serving me since the beginning of this semester, and I can't imagine myself at any other shop for a sip of coffee. I love how the staff is welcoming and how the atmosphere of Brewlab is welcoming, whether it is a cold, rainy morning or a cool, breezy afternoon. I look forward to going to Brewlab each morning to get my daily dose of Chai!

Always friendly service (actually friendly, not just neutral) and great coffee in a very neat environment. Great place to meet with a group to discuss something academic and draw on the whiteboard walls. Also love their collection of local goods (cards, mugs, stickers, etc)!

My favorite place to get coffee! I’m a stay at home/work from home first time mom and I survived on their Lavander Lattes for months! Their drinks are always super tasty and made fast!

One of the chillest coffee shops on campus with decent options as well. I especially love their oatmeal cookie latte, so creamy and perfect for a quick pick me up!

I love their coffee but the matcha was mega weird. Also if you get any plant milk it’s SO much more expensive…are we not past charging extra for non dairy milk

Consider the quintessentials of the college experience: walking to your classes for the first time, dropping your first class, and making lifelong friends, to name a few. But to study in a coffee shop is a shared experience that all college students go through once they get tired of sitting in their rooms, or when library walls begin to feel too close together. My first time at Brewlab, over a year and a half ago, was the result of a google search for coffee shops near me. In my time here at UIUC, I've had the pleasure of experiencing all that Brewlab has to offer. Tasting creamy matcha lattes on cold winter days, cramming for exams with friends in their dedicated study space, playing countless games of chess, and seeing the same strangers every so often are all things that I treasure about this place. When I graduate from UIUC and eventually leave the lawless region of Champaign-Urbana, I will leave many things behind that I will miss dearly. Brewlab is no exception.

BrewLab is cute, a little small but that's not incredibly important to me. The size is actually charming and people make it work. I mostly review for quality of drink, and the espresso here is some of the best in town, if not the best. Lots of citrus on the nose. It's medium bodied, bright, has low acidity, with a complex finish. Each time I've had it's been served with cheer. I would say it's a destination cafe, not necessarily one I could do work in because of the size constraints and the overflow of customers but that is kind of a good thing.
