Common Grounds Coffee House

Decided to drive out of town for the day to check out the area, Google suggested this place - was open at 720 am. Im learning coffee and all the options. The lady was polite and listened to what I like and don't like. Ended up getting a small hot vanilla cupcake with half syrup and almond milk. Not too overly sweet, great environment to relax, and cute decorations. Would visit again if Im in the area again. Thanks!

I have come in multiple times and while the coffee is delicious and the workers are always kind, I find them to be a bit stingy with the coffee. And their largest cup of coffee is $6 and a fairly small large cup size. that's fine if you get what you pay for. However, I asked for light ice today and they filled my cup 3/4 of the way up. When I asked them to fill the rest as I didn't need milk, they told me they don't do that as it's light ice.. so for $6 I get half a cup of coffee? With another fourth of ice? I think it was a fact that they even said it that shocked me.

Great place, with free wifi. Ideal place for students to come and read/do assignments if they are searching for a new place. It's seems like moderately busy place, but still there would be seats available, I didn't had to wait in line for ordering. No delays, the staff are quick. No regrets about any of the coffee/tea I had from there. Above all, the ambience there is always calm and peaceful.

My favorite coffee shop in Carbondale! It’s a relaxed environment with well rounded staff and oh yeah, the coffee is amazing!! I usually get coffee here I haven’t tried their teas or smoothies but they have other options than just coffee! I will sure miss sitting in here most mornings when I leave.

The drinks were very good, and were only made better by the delightful atmosphere. Highly recommend finding an excuse to sit in and enjoy your beverage in the cafe.

Staff were kind and answered all of our questions. So many options and everything was delicious! The parking lot is a bit annoying, but otherwise this place is great!

My absolute favorite coffee shop in Carbondale! Also one of my favorite places in town. The staff have always been really nice and helpful and cheerful! There are super cute decorations inside always. Coffee (and other drinks) are great quality at a great price. And I love the customizations and milk alternatives available.

I absolutely love this place. I come here as much as I can. I usually get an iced americano. Great place to study or read a book. Calm and quiet environment. I recommend this place 100%
