4 stars only because they don't have unsweetened milk options, other than that I like it. Friendly barista, and I'm happy they use swiss water process for decaf. I hope to see more places do that.

The Evanston location is much better then Bannockburn. The baristas there need more training and the baked goods did not seem fresh.

Great little coffee shop. Employees are always friendly and the owners are wonderful. Most importantly, their coffee is always fresh and so flavorful! We have their monthly subscription.

LOVE Newport! The service is great, the drinks are great, the pastries are great, just wonderful all around.

Great spot for coffee, the not Starbucks experience. Great coffee served in a warm atmosphere by kind people. The food offering is slim but very tasty. I did not think I liked quiche until I tried the one with bacon. It is delicious. The only Downs de is that they get behind a bit when things get busy. Use the app to order in advance which does help. One more thing, my wife loves the hot chocolate.

One of the best coffee shops I have been to! Kajsa was extremely helpful in recommending an amazing drink and wonderful pastries. She also helped me pick out coffee beans for my new cold brew coffee maker, which I’m very excited to try them! I highly recommend coming here to try the best coffee in the area.

I pretty much lived here when I was in grad school. This shop has a fiercely loyal troupe of regulars, and if you spend time here you will learn why.

The owner knows his craft inside and out, and is very proactive about hiring and training young people from the local college. The customer loyalty program is free to sign up for and provides more generous rewards than the Starbucks loyalty program. There are also some great deals around Mother's Day and the winter holidays.

Delicious coffee roasted in small batches. The shop smells like heaven when the owner is roasting. I've never had a bad cup of Newport coffee.

Great place to camp out if you are a student or just have some work to do. This shop has been around for over twenty years and there's a reason for it. Long live Newport Coffee.
