Wayback Cafe & Catering

Wayback has always been a family favorite. Always great food and wonderful service. Tonight we called in an order late and like always they delivered an amazing meal.

Great service & food!!! They were very friendly & made sure you left happy. Our waitress, Sam, was the best!!! Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I've had.

One of the worse dining experiences in a very long time. The waitress seemed put out that we where there. It was a 50 minute wait for food. Our friend was told after everyone else food arrive that they where out of burgers. The food way luke warm. We where there for almost two hours and our waters where filled once.
This use to be a favorite place to eat but the chances of us returning are very low.

I had given the Wayback Cafe several chances over the years, was even a regular for three years and tried it again recently after my grandmother passed and saw a neighbor of my grandmother's that I had given some things to.
Recently I was talking to this lady and she seemed tense and said she wanted to ask me something. She asked if my bill had been paid on the visit in which I saw her. I was puzzled and said no. As a thank you she had slipped the waitress the money for my bill and the waitress kept the money! Who steals from an old woman in her 80s?

Let's face it, the food is okay, it is stuff you can buy at URM and make yourself but it is nice to not cook sometimes.

Waitstaff that takes money from a little old lady trying to repay and kindness? Inhumane. It will be a cold day in hell before I set foot in the Wayback Cafe again.

Unfortunately, we sat and were ignored for 30 plus minutes, tables around us were serviced and they avoided eye contact. I had to physically get up and ask for service. Forgot our drinks, didn’t bring out some of the order. Sadly we were excited to try it, but will not be returning.

No doubt the best milkshake I've ever had!! The food was great & plenty of it. The service is next to none & the entire setting was like stepping back in time. Its an experience everyone should try...and you'll go back for more!!!!

Good place. My family members chicken was rotten. A simple mistake but when we mentioned it I don't think the cook even checked it. The milkshakes are definitely worth it and the staff is super friendly!

We looked on line before coming into town for lunch. Online the price of what we wanted (salad) was under $10. When we got to the restaurant and ordered our food. Looking at the menu, the price of our salads was almost $5 more. I asked the server why the difference? Server responded with: oh well I guess she hasn't made it that far only to deserts. The food was good but not for the extra price you now have to pay.
Went back through your web pages, there is nothing posted prices may vary! I would pay $9.95 for the taco salad( as advertised online), but $13.95 for the taco salad is a bit much when your using CHEAP bagged salad!! Sad I paid so much, but happy to know we won't be going back!!
