Sweet Stuff

I tried to go here on a Tuesday at 9:30. They had all the lights on but the closed sign was off and the door was locked. They claim to be open until 10 but definitely are not.

I came the next day at 7:40 after Sweet Stuff has responded saying they are now open until only 9 pm and again they were closed extremely early. Will not ever try to eat here again after being disappointed two days in a row.

Good ice cream and cute candy selections. One of the workers was nice but the other gal with blonde hair was so unpleasant to be around. She seemed irritated that we were even in the store and she had a scowl on her face the entire time. Seems like someone needs an attitude check.

Fun place to get ice cream and candies that you can't find in other stores.

Went in for my dad’s birthday this weekend. He got a strawberry banana shake and drank some of it while waiting for us to all finish getting ours. When we finally all got our ice cream, he compared his shake to mine because he noticed his was pretty thin and runny. Too much milk and not enough ice cream. I took it to the counter to ask if we could get a replacement and they said we would have to buy another one. Another $5 shake for something that was their mistake? No thanks. They didn’t even offer to replace what was left of it since he had drank almost half of it while waiting for the rest of us. No discount to buy another one. Nothing. I’m sure they would replace a child’s ice cream cone if they dropped it in their store, but not something that was clearly made wrong? Good ice cream, but bad customer service from the girls working there today.

We come here every time we visit Lava Hot Springs. It's a nice way to cool off. I mean, really, do we need a review of an Ice Cream store? It's ice cream. It's great.

Hands down the BEST place to get ice cream! I've been coming here for years & it's true, the smaller places always have the best experiences! My husband tried their BLT & it was over the top! Will visit EVERY time were in Lava!

Not bad. They’ve got Farr’s ice cream which is great. Service was okay and seating was tricky but all in all a great experience.

Nice little place in Lava that sells Farr's ice cream and cold sandwiches. There are a variety of vintage candies for sale that are hard to find other places. There are 4 tables inside with about 4 chairs around each table. For someone in a wheelchair, it would not be possible to see the actual ice cream in the tub but there are labels on the glass cover. The chairs are portable (not attached to the table), so one could easily be moved to accommodate a wheelchair user. The hot fudge Sundae was yummy. The ice cream in the cones is square.

Cute candy and ice cream shop with friendly staff. We ordered two shakes, which weren't all that flavorful and a bit on the icy/watery side. Perhaps just an old batch of ice cream.

Cutest young lady working this past weekend 10/12-13th/19 when we went. She was bubbly and energetic which made our time there even better! Ice cream and fudge were top notch! We will surely be back!
