Coffee and baked goods are petty good. The inside seating is pretty small, but plenty of outdoor places to sit.

Oh my gosh my favorite coffee shop ever. I don’t want to overhype this place, but it’s really really incredible. So much more than “just” coffee— the chicken tortilla soup is my favorite soup, the pastries are all made from scratch and are amazing, and the breakfast burritos are heavenly. Just go here !

The best coffee shop in Butte! Greg & Cara have created a wonderful selection of breakfast items - sweet and savory - and the coffee is locally roasted. If you’re looking for some caffeine & a filling breakfast before going out to explore or hitting the slopes, Black Owl is the place for you! We definitely will be back during future trips to Hailey/Ketchum/WRV!

Awesome spot! We were just traveling through, and I almost stopped for coffee at the gas station, but I saw this on the map and decided to go for it. The staff were super friendly, the coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. There is ample outdoor seating, bike parking, and free WiFi. There was plenty of seating inside, too, and cool pictures of the mountains on the walls. Definitely stop here if you are in town.

Greg and Cara are fantastic! Breakfast Burritos are the best in Hailey. (Get the Jalapeño Sour Cream.) Mochas are made with real chocolate and not that syrup other places use. Real deal. Enjoy!

Make sure to drive off the main drag and hit up Black Owl. We got a bacon avo panini, breakfast burrito, and a few cappuccinos and were thoroughly impressed. Good value, as well. The owner may try to foist hot sauce upon you, try it, trust me. Hope to come back one day for another chat and a Chemex cup.

I met the owner and learned all about where owls name came from and the pictures of owls on the walls!! It was really nice in the food and and drinks were awesome. There was some cool mountain art for sale.

Very friendly service here, black coffee done right! Can’t go wrong here. Tasty breakfast items.
